Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus-size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member.

The cost is $49.95 a month, which goes towards the cost of the outfits curated for you. Outfit cost varies, but you’ll only be charged for what you choose to actually buy.

Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your cart or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call Fabletics customer service to do so.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).

Fabletics Plus Size More Velour Review

I will be reviewing the Velour Zip Up Wide Leg Onesie in Lilac, The Luxury Two Piece in Golden Leaf, The Donna Velour Hoodie in Golden Leaf, and The Luxe Velour Jogger in Golden Leaf as well.

The Velour Zip Up Wide Leg Onesie in Bright Lilac, Size 3x, Retail Value $89.95 (VIP Price $69.95)

I have been seeking out more lounge wear when I saw the Vanessa Hudgens' Fabletics ad for the new velour line. The clip had such a golden hour 70s vibe that I was hook, line and sinker. I kind of surprised even myself by falling in love with this onesie. I was sad to see it only came in three of the five colors featured in this new line, but I had to give the lilac a go! This onesie gives me more 80s/90s going to the casino vibe than what I picked up from the ad, but I am still absolutely in love. The material is so beautiful in person-- it truly is luxurious. It feels so soft to the touch and is incredibly stretchy. This onesie has gold tone hardware on the zipper that really complements the light pastel purple of this piece, too. I did some simple styling with my new daisy print rubber clogs (my new house shoes, yes, I now have house shoes!) and some pink-haired troll earrings from the I'm Your Present Etsy shop. I love this onesie, but almost think I would like to get the sleeves shortened and possibly the legs too. I wore this out for some errands and was as comfy as can be, but due to this being a jumpsuit of sorts I would refrain from wearing traveling. This would be brutal to try to wear on a plane if you have to use the bathroom.

Oasis Twist Velour Sports Bra in Golden Leaf, Size 3x , Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95) or buy a set for $125.90 (VIP Price $69.95)

I love velour and velvet fabric as well as the color chartreuse, so this was a match made in heaven. Then when I saw this was the Oasis Twist style bra I love-- it truly was a must! I do regret not sizing up to a 4x-- though the material is stretchy it isn't as stretchy as other versions I own of this sports bra. I don't know if I would be working out in this sports bra anyhow, but it holds me up well and is incredibly comfortable.

Emma Velour Legging in Golden Leaf, Size 3x , Retail Value $65.95 (VIP Price $48.95) or buy a set for $125.90 (VIP Price $69.95)

These leggings are ADORABLE. The leggings and bra look more of a celery shade in this particular set of pictures, but I can assure you they are so vibrant in person! I absolutely adore the color and the style of these leggings. I definitely will not be wearing them to the gym, not due to lack of ease to wear but the fabric simply isn't conducive for working out. I feel like the friction alone from my thighs rubbing against one another on a treadmill could cause a fire in the gym! Truly, though, these leggings are awesome and would look great layered under a baby doll dress or tunic with boots or with your favorite vintage t-shirt tucked in,  an elastic belt at the waist, faux leather biker jacket, and open toe leopard print platforms to simultaneously channel Kelly and Peg Bundy. These will look as great out and about as they will while you wear them taking in your favorite Netflix show.

Donna Velour Hoodie in Golden Leaf, Size 3x , Retail Value $84.95 (VIP Price $64.95)

I don't usually wear hoodies, but I wanted to get a complete outfit! I was on a mission! I love that this hoodie can be worn with my set or alone with other items. You can easily wear this with another workout ensemble or a striped shirt, jeans, and flats. The hoodie, like the onesie, has gold hardware that looks beautiful against the stunning green velour. I got the 3x and it perfectly fits my body.  I don't like my hoodies too baggy or tight-- this one fits like an absolute dream. However, I was bummed that it only came in three shades and not all five. I think Fabletics missed an opportunity on not offering this piece in the Cherry Burst shade to complete the legging and sports bra set too!

Luxe Velour Jogger in Golden Leaf, Size 3x , Retail Value $69.95 (VIP Price $54.95)

Okay, so you all are probably thinking, "Nicole, do you think you over did it with all these velour pieces?" My response would be NOPE! Though, I must admit the fact I am attracted to all of these pieces is a bit surreal to me!  I wasn't a big fan of the velour jogging suit trend of the early/mid 00s, but here I am today! Blame it on Big Rona: your girl finally loves leisure wear. It also didn't hurt that I was fortunate to grab all these pieces during a Fabletics 50% off of everything sale! I got everything at such an unreal price! Since I got them at such a great deal,  I decided to get complete sets and different options to review for yinz!

As you know, I got the leggings in the outfit, but I wanted to see how the fit of the joggers were. These are not as form fitting as the leggings and a slight bit roomier. I love the thick, elastic waist line and the bands at the ankles too. I might prefer the joggers to the leggings, especially since these have pockets! I also love this monochromatic look being completed by my MCLC mules that were a holiday present from my cousin. Pair this all with a t-shirt or crop top  and you have a chic, yet easy to wear errand running outfit!

This month's Fabletics pieces scream, "OPULENCE! You own everything!" Who knew lounge wear could be so glamorous? The styles, cuts, and fits offered in this collection were spot on!  My only complaint was that they didn't offer every piece in the same five colors. I also would have loved to see black as an option, but I think that was very intentional. The line is supposed to focus around more earth and jewel tones. The Bright Lilac and Golden Leaf shades are so energetic and full of life. I love that I can wear these pieces together or separately. If I decide to get more items from the collection, I could also mix and match shades. They all accompany one another so well. I wanted to try to get a variety of pieces from the collection too to give all of my fellow bodacious babes an idea of the fit on each. I am so glad too that the entire collection is in the full size range of xxs to 4xl too. I do hope someday to see Fabletics offer 5x and 6x options-- I think it isn't far off since I see them making all these constant strides to be inclusive.  I started reviewing Fabletics in 2017 and to see how much they have  broadened their selections in terms of styles and sizes--- I only see it improving even further! In addition to them offering a wide range of sizes, I also love that they update their shop with new items every Thursday! They constantly offer phenomenal incentives and sales-- making such high quality pieces more accessible to many. I can't help but suggest the Fabletics brand to anyone seeking stylish, yet affordable active wear.  Are you as big of a fan as I am for Fabletics? Are you excited to see what I get next month too?

Value Breakdown: All five of the velour pieces I reviewed this month retail for $370.75 together, but after the VIP discount and a 50% off sale, I managed to only spend $129.90! That means I saved a total of $240.85 which is roughly a 65% savings! Fantastic!

I also fell in love with the velour collection, everything looks so good! I got the matching maroon sweats and hoodie, but now I wish I got the jumpsuit and leggings too.

Right, Mandi? That was probably my favorite collection they have done, maybe ever? Everything was just so beautiful! I wish I had selected a few pieces in different colors to mix and match, but the green and lilac were just too perfect!

These look fabulous on you and oh so luxurious!

The only thing I’m not so sure about is the boob pockets on the lavender one. I tend to utilize my pockets and am imagining these stuffed with my keys and phone! 😀

Thank you so much, Linda! Yeah, keys might be an issue for sure with the placement.
