First Impressions

My typical white box arrives beautifully packaged.

Included were helpful cards and a booklet with loads of details about the product this month from Earthwise Beauty. We were sent two gorgeous formulas.

The Products

Black Locust Firming Concentrate, 0.5 oz - Retail Value $86

I was immediately taken with this deep olive serum with its earthy and herbaceous scent. It is designed to do a few wonderful things reall well: anti-aging benefits from Bakuchiol, antioxidants from acai and soothing calendula. Though it was designed to benefit mature and aging skin, it could easily find a place in any routine! Apply a few drops to your face before moisturizer or even add a few drops to your favorite cream. I even tried adding some drops mixed with witch hazel to a misting bottle and used it as a little spritz supplement to my face while I stared at this laptop all day. Over time, this stuff will help with fine lines and overall skin texture.

Isadora Face Balm, 1 oz - Retail Value $100

I love a balm, especially in the wintertime when I can use them as extra soothing sleep masks. Truly, if you are suffering from dry, red, and angry winter skin, add an oil cleanser and a balm to your night routine. It will help! The ingredient list of this balm reads like a garden full of things that can be turned into oils and waxes that moisturize skin: moringa, shea, mango, prickly pear, tomato, argan, and carrot. All of these fatty ingredients come together to form a melt in your palm balm and it only takes a pea-sized amount to cover your face. It provides instant soothing relief to stressed skin. You ever get dry and flaky under your eyebrows? Around your nostrils? Not anymore. And the scent of orange blossoms is the perfect touch. I am excited for this stuff to keep my face happy and smooth all winter long.

Beauty Heroes was pretty much a dream for dry and/or winter-weary skin. The serum provides instant relief and the balm finishes the job while protecting your face all night long for a smooth and bright complexion in the morning. As usual, the value here is great! You get $186 worth of delight for under $60. This is a must-have for all my dry readers out there for sure!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
