This is my second month with the Macy’s box. I am enjoying it so far. However, I noticed the coupon on the Jan 2022 box has a Dec 31, 2021 exp date. Did anyone else receive this same coupon? Is this able to be used online even though it is expired? The samples are nice this month, but I like the added value of the $5 off a future purchase when when don’t get a true “full size” item or something like the travel curling iron we got in December. Same for anyone else?
I recieved my box on Jan 14th. Very happy and enjoyed the fragrance and Elemis Balm the most so far. The Elemis really works on subborn eye makeup. Really enjoying this box cant wait to try everything else.
Got my box yesterday! I just love how neatly they wrap it all up, wish they would put it in the bag tho.
I really love the Elemis balm so I was excited to get a travel size for an upcoming trip
I’m looking forward to breaking open an ampule tonight and trying the serum, what an interesting item to get. Defiantly a first of its kind for me!
I received my box today and everything was included! The Estee Lauder scent is wonderful, and I can’t wait to try the Elemis cleanser and the eye cream. Some amazing products to try in this box, thanks again Macy’s!
I love Ahava hand lotions and Elemis products but I think this is going to be my last box. I did not love the last two boxes and have enough products to last me months.
Spoilers for the February bag are already released
Urban Hydration Lemon & Berries Micellar Cleansing Water
Shea Yeleen Coconut Melon Body Cream
Rucker Roots Curly Hair Cream
Lovinah Blue Butterfly Stem Cell Hydration Mask
Serum?
Love Zipper Bag
I just realized I never got December’s box and wasn’t billed. When I try to review my subscriptions, the page loops back to the same page for new subscribers. I’ve been subbed for years so I don’t know what’s going on. Of course, I would have loved the mini curling iron in last month’s box. =( Is anyone else having this issue?
Macy’s box is always a good deal. They feature reputable brands and include a nice bonus each month. (I had Ipsy, but they sent me weird stuff from China). They always try to make it right, and I haven’t had any problems in over a year. The scents are a nice way to try before buying.
I was very excited to receive the December box I signed up for at the beginning of November and even received an email with a confirmation that my first box will be the December box. But by the third week of December I still had no box so I checked my Macy’s account and it said my first box was going to be the January one. I immediately canceled and after seeing what was in it, I’m glad I did. Customer service never responded to my question of why the December box was never sent.
Macy’s store customer service is awesome and their Subscription Box division should take some lessons from them.
I am so glad I cancelled this. It is a boring sub box with no large samples. I went back to Ipsy for only $13 and the value and new products is great. My only treat subscription box right now.
This is an excellent example that shows how everyone is different and we all have varied needs/wants/tastes. I love Macy’s and get excited for it every month but think IPSY is a bunch of cheap garbage samples so it’s great that there is a subscription box out there for everyone!
If the Macy’s video is accurate, the Babor ampoules are a full size worth $29.95 on Babor’s website. I canceled Allure and kept Macy’s subscription because it always sends better quality products.
I completely agree! Macy’s sends well-known, respected, quality brands; and it’s always fun to try the perfume samples. Some people do prefer quantity over quality, and some people find it exciting to try new (occasionally questionable) brands. However, I’m with you in preferring higher caliber products. Maybe I’ve tried too many different sub boxes lol. At this point I’ve cancelled all except Macy’s, ME, FFF, and Ipsy X.
Same here Nat! I literally finished that same tube of eye cream yesterday and loved it. I’m also crazy about the Babor ampoules. I’m working on the Vitamin C set right now. Excited to try this set. Macy’s is my favorite box hands down.
