So choice opened today, not that MSA bothered to remind us. 😕

Hi Melissa. If you have the Ipsy app it says when the choice dates are. When I find out the date (I think it’s the same date every month or very close to it,) I add it to my calendar in my phone with a reminder so I don’t miss it. I do the same thing for the 2nd of every month for the bag reveal and add ons. I do the same thing for customization and add on dates for FFF. I hope this helps you. If I didn’t put the dates in my calendar with reminders, I know I would miss the dates myself. It’s so easy to lose track of dates.

I agree that I can set a reminder for myself but it seems to me that tons of us have asked time and time again for the reminder and it also seems to me like an extremely simple thing for MSA to do for their loyal readers. It almost feels like since it’s the kind of post that won’t make them money that they are not doing it on purpose. Which feels Not good. They asked what we wanted and we asked for a reminder. Why ask if you don’t care?

Hi Amethyst. What a gorgeous name, I love it. Sorry, there was no way for me to comment back to you directly, so I had to comment to myself, ha ha. I hope you see this. I agree, a lot of things have changed.I do really miss Liz and some of the other staffers that are not here anymore. She was the heart and soul of MSA. They used to do the Pick or Skip post and another post separately reminding about Ipsy choice, and another post showing their bag reveal for Ipsy and Birchbox. I don’t know if that is done anymore. I also noticed that they don’t cover a lot of boxes they used to cover, which I miss. Liz was all about the beauty and lifestyle boxes, which was awesome because they seemed to cover all of them back then. It was the golden age of sub boxes. Before prices went up, before shipping delays (besides that French box which always ran late,) before sub box companies got greedy and started adding tiers and neverending sales. I don’t know how Liz saw the beginning of the end, but she got out of the game before it shifted. Anyway, I do think MSA is trying to listen to us and do better. When they changed the format and everyone was very vocal about how they hated it and a lot of people started going to the other site, they changed it back to the format we’re used to. They brought the forum and swap back. Maybe if they hear from enough people that we want reminders for choice back, hopefully it will be instituted again? Sorry for the novel, just my two cents.

Amethyst

That’s a great idea, Ingermaria! It is hard to remember all the dates when you have multiple subscriptions, which it sounds like you do, too.

That being said, MSA used to be the place to come for regular reminders and updates. In one way, maybe the site is less cluttered if it doesn’t include every reminder, but, on the other hand, it would be kind of nice to still get those reminders, I think. Oh well. Things have changed. Thanks again!

Every month I think about canceling and I don’t. I’m trying to eliminate finances, but I like have a little package for myself ❤️

I’ve been wanting to try the Sulwhasoo serum for some time now and that blush is a pretty color.

I am glad I cancelled.

It’s really not cool to spoil the bag design by using it as the main image for the product spoiler post. What happened to the generic ipsy envelope (that you use on the bag spoiler posts)?

Kelly

I like having it all in one post. It’s a waste of space to have a completely separate bag design post.

Melissa

I agree with Kelly.

Carol

These are nice. That blush is so pretty!
