Welcome to our monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries in KIDS subscription boxes! Here are our favorite children's books, kids clothing items, art projects, and more from the past month:

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Chika Crochet Detail Dress by Sunset West

The Cost: $28

From: StitchFix Kids

Why I love it: This month my baby girl turned 7 and she was very excited to find this dress in her Fix because she knew it would be a perfect birthday dress. I love the colors and the details on this dress like the crochet front and the beautiful florals. It’s very unique and super cute! Plus the long sleeves mean she can pair it with some tights and wear it even when it gets much cooler!

Sanna's Favorite:

The Item: Nita’s Day by Kathy MacMillan

The Cost: $14.99

From: Little Feminist

Why I love it: I was so excited about this baby signs book! I’ve been trying to find a book exactly like this one but when I searched on my own, I ended up purchasing a different one that wasn’t even a board book. I should have just waited and let Little Feminist do the research for me because this book is perfect. It features signs to teach your baby and incorporates it into a story about Nita’s day. Each page has a pull-out in the center that details how to do the sign and the book is sturdy enough that my baby can pull apart the diagrams herself and the book has held up!

Becca's Favorite:

The Item: Little Passports Pressure Power Box

The Cost: $27.95

From: Little Passports Science Expeditions

Why I love it: This month we learned about pressure power and built our very own hydraulic robot arm! Not only could this cardboard arm move up and down, but we actually were able to design it to pick up light objects too! How awesome is that?

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.
