This was a great box. I was amazed the the little curling wand was so easy to use. That there was worth the pric, but of course I loved the rest too.I love this box!

Received my December box and it’s missing the primer. So sick of missing items every month. I have subscribed since the Jo Malone box and had intended to cancel this month after so much frustration. Unfortunately I missed the cut off to cancel the January box.

Can you please make a deluxe beauty box? Where maybe you can get the mini spray perfumes and maybe a quad pallet? I love the minis but Jan will be my first box. I was subscribed to boxy charm premium but it was $40 a month and it had almost All no name brand stuff and to me it wasn’t worth it. When they had the ABH takeover I was loving it but every month afterwards I just kept getting disappointed

I was very happy with the YSL box.
Was charged for my Dec. box a few days ago, not unusual for sub boxes this time of year.

BUT, today I received an email that said my box had been cancelled because of ” a stock issue”!

Did anyone else get an email that their entire box had just been cancelled out of the blue?

I got the same message–cancelled due to out of stock.
Was charged on 12/10, then cancelled 1/12.
Today, I was notified that I was charged and it shipped!
No wonder Macy’s is closing!

I cancelled this box a year ago bc it was a hot mess when Macy’s resumed it after a long Covid hiatus. I see it’s still a mess, a year later. I’m not sure why Macy’s bothers with their beauty box program- they can’t handle it worth a darn.

Hey Every body,,, just want you all to know I called customer service and I spoke to a very nice guy,,, he told me they is an issue and they are aware of the issue and are working to fix it,,, so every body please be patient,, as soon as it’s fixed they will let us know and we will be getting our December beauty boxes,, take care.

I’ve been subscribed to this box for a long time, and I was not charged for Dec, and of course haven’t received this box. I emailed Macy’s CS, and dealing with them is like beating my head against a wall! I have never, ever had a good experience with their CS. Once last year, my husband even tried because I always get frustrated. By the time he was done with them, he was furious. I don’t know what kind of people they employee, but they’re consistently bad. They’re rude and ineffective. If it wasn’t for this box, I wouldn’t give them any business at all.

Just a quick follow-up. For the past 2 hours, I’ve been discussing the missing Dec beauty box with Macy’s through email. After explaining the issue to them repeatedly, this was their final decision,

“I have reviewed your concern and would like to request you to kindly manage these subscriptions from your end”

I swear, they are the worst CS I have ever dealt with! I’m a nurse, and I can’t imagine ever treating people this way!

I subscribed to this box on November 4 and it indicated I would get the November box. Here it is almost the middle of December and I have not gotten a box at all. When I called just like another person said the person that answered the phone seemed like she did not even know they had a beauty box. I was told that my box was on its way. That was a couple of weeks ago. This is ridiculous why charge someone in November and not send them a box in that same month?

I got my November box, but they subbed out one of the YSL perfumes with a mini mascara, which was not nearly as good. I wanted to use the mini perfume as a stocking stuffer for my niece! And I haven’t been billed for the December box or received any notice of it shipping.

I didn’t get the deluxe perfume sample wither. I chatted with Macy’s and they refunded the amount for the box.

I have been subscribed for several years and it looks like I’m no longer subscribed even though I have never cancelled! I could not find a way to chat with customer service from my account page so I sent a message on FB messenger. This is their response: At this time, none of our subscribers have received the December Beauty Box and customers have not been charged. This is being investigated and we will update you when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.

I’ve been a Macy’s Beauty Box subscriber since the very first box. I was not billed this month, have heard nothing about it and when I look at my account page there is no indication I am subscribed. When I click “Subscriptions” it takes me to the beauty box signup page. I emailed customer service and got a semi-literate response telling me to call a number that is for some kind of protection plan. This is absolutely totally nuts.

I have follow-up and it’s just as ridiculous! All of a sudden on the 10th I got an email that my December Beauty Box was ordered and my credit card was charged. Then on the 11th I got ANOTHER one, different order number! I wrote back and said I don’t want two, please cancel one of them. Well they are BOTH cancelled and CS says they are out of stock. I give up.

Same thing here, AmyS. I literally spent 48 minutes with 4 different customer service reps. The last one was stateside and was amazed at the runaround. And she was in the CREDIT DEPT, not even Beauty Box. Great box, great price, but terrible website and sloppy customer service for Beauty Box. And still don’t know if I’m even subscribed.

This box is a hot mess. I finally got into my account to try and check the billing (for those stuck in that annoying broken loop, try a different browser), and this is what it says: “Subscription Date: 11/04/2021. Estimated billing date for January box is between 12/25/2020 – 01/04/2021”. I signed up last month, but they plan to bill me for the next box…a year ago?

I’m so confused. I was billed when I signed up for the December box, over a month ago. Still no word on when that box will ship. And no spoilers for January. I want to know what’s in the January box so I can cancel in time if its no good…

I don’t think that Macy’s reveals the spoilers until after the box for the month ships. You may not be able to sign up for the January box by the time spoilers are released- you will be billed for February’s box.
At least that’s the way it used to be. Apparently Macy’s has been having problems……….

Yeah I agree! That’s how they usually do it I mean up until now anyways it’s been like that. So whenever you sign up you will not get that month you’re going to get the following month if they’re always a month ahead of themselve. I don’t know why. And if there’s any mishaps with your billing or anything like that even if it’s their fault you might not get the box at all because that happened to me. They made a mistake with my billing and when I called them to see what was going on they said “oh it was a glitch in our system we apologiz.” they went ahead and billed my card then. only to come back and say sorry we’re sold out of that box so you’re going to have to wait till next month and then refunded my money.😳 So yeah and they’re really having issues my account is now showing billing for January as well and I haven’t been billed for December’s box yeah. I called last night to find out if they’re even having a December’s box. And was on hold a total of 2 hours and didn’t get any answers. The lady at the end pretended like she couldn’t hear me and hung up. It’s very disappointing because December usually is one of the best boxes of the year.

I thought that used to be the case, but they released full December spoilers the first week of November, so I was hoping they had gotten their act together and were on a better schedule. I’m more irritated that it’s been a month since I was billed, and there is no word of when the box will ship, and no confirmation of when the next box will be billed. The info on their site is all very wrong.

I agree. Called last night was on hold a total of 2 hours 1 hour with the music and 1 hour with the agent. 99.9% of the Macy’s workers don’t even know that Macy’s has a beauty box LOL the lady I spoke too sure didn’t. She was messaging someone I could hear typing I guess emailing the department or what have you and then she pretended to not be able to hear me and say I have to go now I can’t hear you I’m going to have to assist in the next customer in the queue and hung up on me yeah definitely not helpful.

Since there is no post at all, neither spoiler nor review, for the November Macy’s beauty box I have to post this question here: Does anybody know what the red YSL Rouge Volupté lipstick color is called? It doesn’t say, and the label on the bottom of the lipstick is so tiny I can’t really read it even with a magnifying glass -but I don’t think it says the color name anyway. (I assume they send samples in the hope that we will repurchase — how can you buy more of something if you don’t know what it is?)

It’s number 45 which is called Rogue Tuxedo! I love it too and already purchased the full size when YSL had a BOGO sale last month. It’s such a beautiful color. Macy’s is my favorite box and this is the best product they have ever introduced me to! I hope they get this months box figured out because I haven’t been charged yet either and I’ve been a subscriber for over a year.

It’s number 45 which is called Rogue Tuxedo. I love it! It stains my lips so that even once the red wears off my lips are still a gorgeous deep pink color. If you sign up for YSL emails they have BOGO on this line of lipsticks fairly often if you are interested in purchasing the full size. 🙂

They included the product web Id in the brochure, it’s 2775315 and the color for this one is Corail Dolman. Hope this helps!!
