There’s a Subscription for That: Gourmet French Breakfast

Continental breakfast on white bed sheets. Coffee, orange juice, croissants, jam, honey and flowers on wicker tray. Romantic countryside morning scenery, window as background.

There’s a Subscription For That is a new series spotlighting subscriptions the team at My Subscription Addiction finds interesting and is excited to share with readers.

Ah, Paris. Bustling streets, glittering lights, phenomenal wine, delicious food, a killer fashion scene, thousands of years of history, and culture that oozes from every corner, are the quintessential ingredients for the City of Love. A city that would not be the same if you took even a single one of those ingredients away. Paris has that je ne sais quoi that only visitors lucky enough to have visited can understand.

Nothing though, quite beats those little corner shops where the line of people are out the door waiting to purchase their breakfast croissant or baguette for dinner. Regardless of the time of day, walking past a bakery as the smell of warm breads and fresh pastries dance upon your nose is a sure-fire way to get anyone to stop and order just one. more. crepe.

Well, my fellow Parisian pastry lovers, I have some great news. If you are longing for that special taste of France in your life, there’s a subscription for that. Madalyn et Rose is a  subscription box that brings gourmet french breakfast direct to your doorstep. And honestly, we couldn’t be more excited.

Madalyn et Rose

Madalyn et Rose is a bi-monthly subscription box that has tastefully curated their boxes to include both gourmet French breakfast items as well as locally sourced products direct from France to your (im)patiently waiting tastebuds.

Subscriptions start at $70 for a recurring box every 2 months. You also have the option to purchase a 4 month subscription or a 6 month subscription, which will save you $10 and $30 respectively.

Each box includes a spread from a local French artisan (give us all the honey and jam!), a beverage, a non-perishable accessory, edible treats, and something sweet. Madalyn et Rose has captured the hearts and taste buds of francophiles worldwide with its delicious items such as honey, biscuits (cookies), preserves (including one made from rosé champagne!), and breakfast related accessories.

In addition to all the local Parisian products, the Madalyn et Rose box also includes a French recipe that you can use to impress your family and friends at home. And sure, we know you can just hop online and find a great one as well, but we love this little extra added touch.

The Madalyn et Rose box also makes the perfect one-off gift for that special someone in your life that may be reminiscing of their last time spent in France. And while we are on the topic of gifts… the current box just shipped out, but there is still plenty of time to get in your Christmas orders!

If you love the taste of France, but are concerned about allergies, don’t fret! They also have key allergy information on the side of the box or you can email them before ordering to ensure all products will be safe for your consumption.

Are you ready to take a trip to France without ever leaving your house? Well, we certainly are! We can already taste the local jam, on a warm pastry with a cup of coffee. We may never leave our house again!

The Quick Rundown

  • All products are made in France and shipped direct from France
  • Free worldwide shipping
  • Bi-monthly subscription box
  • Deadlines to order are the last day of the month before the box starts to ship
  • Currently, you can order for the December box
  • $70 for a recurring 2 month subscription
  • $130 for a 4 month subscription (2 boxes)
  • $180 for a 6 month subscription (3 boxes)

This is rapidly becoming my favorite type of post of MSA. Problem though, the author mentions that it is a series in the opening paragraph. The old site design used to have tags, and we could click on the tag to find similar types of posts. How can we do this now? When you search for “There’s a Subscription for That” at the top of the page, there are 4,770 results. Soooo…we need a way to find them in one place!

Glad you like the series. Super helpful feedback! We will be working on that this week. Thank you for letting us know!

I grew up eating French crepes instead of pancakes, and I miss them so much. I need to check this out!
