Now, on to the items!

Plant Based Beauty Avocado + Algae Face Mask,  1 oz - Retail Value $22

Personally, I'm not a huge DIY fan. I would rather buy a product, finished and ready to go than make it myself. When it comes to face masks, in general, I prefer sheet masks or peel-off masks because of how quick, easy, and simple they make nourishing your skin. But this product has a ton of kickass ingredients, from powerful antioxidants to vitamins and all of the superfoods, so I decided to give it a try. I have to admit, the product felt amazing on my skin. It was hydrating but also very cleansing. I felt like all my pores were squeaky clean but my skin was not stripped. Once applied, the mask dried quickly on my face and was ready to wash off in about 5-10 minutes. My skin felt smooth, glowy, and fresh. The downside, for me, is that mixing the powder with water to create a paste in my palm ended up with a mess on my sink. The scent is pretty strong and leaves a lot to be desired. It reminds me of the fish food I used to feed my goldfish as a child.

purfect Anti-Aging Eye Serum, 15 ml - Retail Value $65

I'm always at war with my under-eyes, trying to find a way to combat my ever-growing crow's feet, puffiness, and those dark raccoon under-eyes that come from burning the candle at both ends. I have to admit, I was incredibly skeptical about this product. First off, it's an oil, and my skin tends to be too oily for products like this. Also, it's a rose oil; rose being one of my least favorite scents. But then I tried it, and wow! I really love this product. The consistency is great. It's concentrated but not sticky or oily. The product absorbs quickly and doesn't leave behind any residue. The fragrance is subtle and non-intrusive, and the product comes in an opaque black glass bottle, which is the best way to preserve organic ingredients. But I have to say, my absolute favorite thing about this product is the applicator. The rollerball makes it super easy to precisely apply the product under my eyes, and the rollerball itself is gentle and cooling on the delicate skin under my eyes.

Nourish Naturals Creamy Vegan Stain Lip & Cheek Stain in Apricot, 2 g - Retail Value $22

If you've read any of my reviews, you know that I'm straight-up suspicious of multi-use products. I just can't see how I would want to put the same product on my lips and then apply it to my cheeks. Also, when you have more oily skin, cream-based cheek stains or highlighters tend to just absorb right into the skin and disappear. So, I only tried this product on my lips. I have to say, a little goes a long way. The pinkish-orange shade gives a very delicate look, and I topped it with a bit of clear lip gloss for a bit of shine. It went on smooth, leaving behind a matte natural-looking color, with no sticky texture. My lips felt hydrated and the product was definitely buildable and blended very nicely with my gloss.

Lovesong Beauty Invisible Dry Shampoo Gel, 50 ml - Retail Value $36

I have never in my life seen or heard of a dry shampoo gel. In general, the dry shampoo sprays are always a little risky for me because a lot of them will leave behind a white residue that is very visible on my dark hair. Since my hair is very thick, sometimes it's hard to get the product on only my scalp. This was definitely a product I was excited to try. It has a light gel-like texture that feels very cooling and refreshing on my roots. There was no powdery residue left behind, and the product didn't weigh down my hair at all. It has a light, sweet floral and vanilla scent that isn't at all overpowering, and it doesn't leave any weird stiff or gummy texture on your hair. I love that it comes in a reusable glass bottle. This is definitely one of the most innovative products I've seen in a while.

Verdict

I think this was one of my favorite Nourish Beauty boxes to date. Lovesong's dry shampoo gel is definitely the standout product for me. It's completely different from any other dry shampoos I've tried. It feels absolutely wonderful on the scalp, and it quickly refreshes and revitalizes my hair in between washes. The purfect anti-aging eye serum feels great under my eyes. The rollerball applicator is cooling and eliminates any puffiness or dark circles under my eyes. I got a natural hydrated lip from the Nourish Naturals cheek and lip stain. I like the delicate pink of the color. Plant-Based Beauty's face mask is definitely a chore to put on but with so many amazing ingredients, it makes it worth it. Overall, I really enjoyed the products in this box.
