Gwynnie Bee is a size-inclusive clothing rental subscription service offering sizes 0-32! Gwynnie Bee allows you to select items you like that are put in a virtual closet. The chosen items in your virtual closet are sent to you at random, but you can select priority pieces to be sent to you first. Since I started using the service, I can say I always have a lot of fun with this box!

The cost depends on how many items you would like to rent out at a time. Starting at $49 per month for 1 item and up to $199 for 10 items. Gwynnie Bee also has a marketplace on their site where you can buy steeply discounted used rental pieces and brand new accessories, underwear, and workout gear as well!

This is a review of the three items at a time for $95/month.

What's Inside This Box

White Trim Blue Dress by Smak Parlour, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $58.50

As soon as I laid eyes on this dress, I had to closet it ASAP! It looks like it could be a vintage dress from the 60s mod era, so this was an absolute must. Unlike true vintage, I was able to get this in my size without issues! The material even reminds me of crepe polyester stretch pieces I own-- I am impressed! This dress has loads of stretch and is incredibly comfortable to wear. This reminds me of being a teen and going to ska shows at Club Laga back in the day-- just I was never this well dressed! I opted to style this dress the way I think a late 90s/early 00s Nicole would have loved to-- with big checkered acrylic hoops from Fairly Odd Shop and white lug sole Mary Jane shoes. You could wear this in cooler weather with black tights and a faux leopard print coat for extra sass and retro vibes!

Sunflower Black Dress by Unique Vintage x GB, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $83.50

I don't remember selecting this piece, but I am not mad about it! This dress is a collab with Unique Vintage and GB is rather well made and extremely comfortable. The material is a thick knit cotton with ample stretch and a sunflower print screen printed on the fabric. The retro cut certainly fits the Unique Vintage aesthetic the retailer is so well known for too. This is a dress that could work all year long depending on how you opt to style the piece. I wanted to do warmer weather pairings and gave it a folksy, yet kitschy styling by wearing it with these neat-o bee earrings from Electric Cat Shop and Seychelles cow print wooden sandals.  This look really moo-ves me! Sorry, can't resist a good pun, yinz know this. For fall and winter, simply pair this adorable dress with black opaque tights, black or white combat boots, and an oversized, bulky knit cardigan or platform open toe wedges with your favorite faux leather biker jacket.

Ruffle Detail Mint Souffle Dress by Every Body Every Wear, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $75.50

Certainly, this mint chocolate chip dream of a dress is similar to the Smak Parlour one. Sure, the colors are similar, though this is obviously a greeny mint shade with black accent details rather than white. The cut is more giving and the fabric has a bit more stretch as well. I also appreciate the little ruffle and faux buttons on the chest-- it reminds me of 70s ruffle dress shirts. I have never heard of the Every Body Every wear brand, but I am in love with their name and if this piece is an indicator of their aesthetic and style-- I want to see more! I did similar styling as I did with the powder blue dress-- white Mary Jane shoes, but this time black and white flower power earrings from the Ziggy Pop Shop! I could see this dress looking fantastic with black tights, stacked Mary Jane heels, and a long black faux leather coat with faux fur trim for the fall and winter months. You will be a refreshing dream in this number all year long!

Verdict

This month, my selections from Gwynnie Bee were all fantastic little party dresses! I loved the personality each brought to the table and that they all had that retro vintage-inspired vibe I crave! I can't really choose a favorite, I loved them all. Not only was the style phenomenal, but the fit on each was great too. No complaints! I was pleased too to try some brands I had never heard of before like Every Body Every Where! That is why I love Gwynnie Bee so much-- their service gives you the ability not only to try out different trends but brands you may have never heard about otherwise! I also LOVE the ability to rent and try pieces-- there is no commitment to purchase pieces. If you do fall in love with a piece and can't bring yourself to return it-- no worries, you can keep it at a discount! Gwynnie Bee offers all previously worn items at a discount, but as a member, you also qualify for their frequent sales on at-home and returned items. You also accrue points simply by being a member that can provide you $5, $10, or $15 off credits! Truly what isn't there to love?

For a self-proclaimed clothing fiend (or clothes horse as my mom calls me!)-- this service is fantastic! I get the thrill of receiving a new-to-me piece, trying it on, and returning it when I am through. This is wonderful if you want to experiment with trends or if you need new clothes for the office or a special occasion. You might be wondering what the best part is since there are so many awesome things about Gwynnie Bee, right? Well, you get to enjoy all of this right from home. That's right, no need to grab a mask and head to the mall. Your home is your own personal fitting room and fashion show! What are you waiting for-- especially with 50% off for your first month! I am excited to see what I get next month-- but if you have tried Gwynnie Bee too, I would love to hear your experience as well!
