Whoever said candy advent calendars were just for kids hasn't seen the Sugarfina 2021 Advent Calendar! The Santa's Workshop calendar is chock-full of sweets that are perfectly grown up.

First Impressions

Before we can even talk about the candy, one thing we are loving about the Sugarfina calendar is the shipping date — calendars start shipping the week of September 27! That's practically tomorrow (practically). That's why we're labeling this one as "available now" when it's still technically a pre-order — shipping is just around the corner.

The calendar is stocked with 24 days of goodies, and each day will get you 4 pieces of candy rather than the one you tend to get in other calendars. But of course you're wondering ... what candy's inside?

What's in the Box?

  • Baby Whales
  • Birthday Cake Caramels
  • Birthday Cookie Bites
  • Parisian Pineapples
  • Clementine Bears

Last year Sugarfina and Papersource had a slightly cheaper version of the advent calendar, I think around $35. It was still a pretty insane cost if you really consider what you’re paying by ounce.

I saw this and ordered one from their website. It was $55. I got 10% discount for first order but had to pay the shipping.

But how much does it cost please?

The Sugarfina website says it is not available yet but you can sign up to be notified. There is no price listed yet. Does the Amazon link take you to a reseller who has raised the price? I think I will wait and order directly from the website.

This isn’t a sub spoiler, this is an ad for an Amazon item. My comments get moderated but who’s looking out for content integrity? 🙁

They always post about Advent calendars, though. Every year we get posts about Advent calendars, and I appreciate it. However, as someone else pointed out in an earlier comment, Amazon charges about $20 more for this item than if you bought it from somewhere else. That is what makes this shady, not the fact that it is not a sub box item.

any reason to link to the Amazon item page when it’s almost $20 more on Amazon than any other site?

Maybe those clicks give a better percentage back to them? That’d be my guess. lol
