Now, on to the items!
Malaya Rejuvenating Face Serum, 15 ml - Retail Value $65
The path to my current skincare routine is riddled with bottles of face serum. I have many, and I apply many, and I’m always on the hunt for more. I think serums are my absolute favorite part of any skincare routine. That being said, I favor lightweight water-based or gel serums; they just work better for my skin. So, this product is quite a bit heavier than I prefer for a serum. It has a fresh woodsy scent and the texture of a lightweight face oil. It absorbed very quickly into my skin, and I noticed my face felt smooth and softer almost instantly. It definitely felt hydrating and brightened my complexion, but my t-zone looked quite a bit oilier than usual after an hour or so. As much as I love serums, this one might be a bit much for my oily skin and something I will have to pass on to a friend with more thirsty skin.
28 LITSEA Top Note Red Ginger Body Oil, 50 ml - Retail Value $22
Body oils are a huge part of my daily routine. There’s nothing that I love more than slathering on a light, hydrating, fast-absorbing body oil after a hot shower. My go-to has always been baby oil — it’s economically priced and delicate on sensitive skin. But recently, I’ve been branching out into the “grown woman” body oils. I find this particular oil to be the best of both worlds. It has a subtle, yet more grownup, spicy ginger, and sweet citrus scent, while still being delicate for sensitive skin. I absolutely despise that greasy residue that some oils leave on your skin, but I didn’t find this product leaving me feeling deep-fried. The oil soaked into my skin nicely and left my body feeling soft and hydrated and looking healthy and glowy.
Nourish Naturals Butter Pop Tinted Liquid Balm in Rose Glace, 2.2 ml - Retail Value $16
I love the scent of this liquid balm. It’s a scrumptiously delicious vanilla cake-like scent, but I seem to get one every month, and it’s getting a little old. Each month it’s a very similar shade, and they’re starting to pile up because they arrive quicker than I could possibly use them all. However, I find this balm really does work to smooth and moisturize my dry lips and leaves behind a very light lovely long-lasting tint.

Bella Vida Pineapple Paradiso Glow Mask, 50 ml - Retail Value $59.99
The thing that caught my eye about this mask was the unique clear gel-like texture. I’m an avid face masker, but my typical preference is a peel-off or sheet mask because I like to mask and go; not mask, wait, trek back to the bathroom, and rinse off. But the packaging and texture of this product were very enticing, and then, I cracked it open… Oh my goodness, it smells absolutely divine — a bright, juicy pineapple scent that elicits visions of a glorious tropical vacation. Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits, so naturally, I freaked out and had to give it a try. The texture is absolutely delightful and my favorite thing about the product. It’s an ultra-light cooling gel that applied nice and smooth and left my skin glowing afterward.
Bella Vida sent their own very thorough product card for the Pineapple Paradiso Glow Mask.
Verdict
This month’s Nourish Beauty Box had some faves and some passes for me. The Bella Vida glow mask was my absolute favorite item — something unique, different, and delicious smelling. The 28 Litsea body oil is the perfect daily staple for me. I was less than thrilled with the Nourish Naturals liquid balm, mostly because ‘been there, done that.’ But the pineapple mask's retail value is almost double the cost of the subscription, which more than makes up for receiving another liquid balm. Unfortunately, the Malaya facial serum is a bit too much oil and too little serum for my face — but overall, I think this was a solid box from Nourish Beauty, and as always, the value is there.
