What's Inside This Box

Province Apothecary Regenerating Exfoliator + Resurfacing Mask - Retail Value $36

Dry masks definitely come with a learning curve and every one is so different. I love that you can mix this mask with whatever medium you'd like.

I chose to mix it with rosehip oil which ended up kind of looking like a weird pesto.

After I had my mask mixed completely I applied it all over my face, moving my fingers in a slow circular motion to get the most out of the physical exfoliators. The rosehip oil smell plus the lavender fragrance really didn't jive together, but it felt great on the skin! It was gentle, yet effective, and I'd definitely use this again.

This Works Kind Hands Moisturizer, 2.5fl oz - Retail Value $12

tube of this works hand cream

This time of year really does a number on my hands. Between the washing and sanitizing and constantly having wet hands at home (toddlers, enough said!), I consider products like this liquid gold. I have been coating my hands several times at bedtime and in the morning when I know I won't have to immediately wash them, and it has changed my skin immensely. This cream uses vitamin E and shea butter to soothe and hydrate while its lavender fragrance takes you to a more peaceful state.

Delia Organics Wake Up Moisturizing Lotion, 1fl oz- Retail Value $15.99

I know so many people absolutely love using toner, but I've never found one that made me feel like the extra step was worth it. Maybe it is because of my dry complexion? This toner is intended for people with any skin type, including sensitive and dry skin. I used it after washing my face and neck, and I really didn't see or feel a difference in hydration or glow. It is fragranced with sweet orange oil, but the scent didn't last too long once the product dried. I am still not sold on toners; does anyone with dry skin have one they could recommend?

Moonlit Skincare Bamboo Silk Scrunchie - Retail Value $4

black hair scrunchies

Oh yes, my vast scrunchie collection is ever-growing. I can't get enough of this trend. They are gentle on my hair, and I thought it in the '90s and still agree today: they are cute. Perfect for a messy bun, this vegan scrunchie will hold your style and keep you stylin'.

My Little Mascara Club Length and Definition Mascara - Retail Value $12

When it comes to mascara, I can be extremely critical. Does it check all the boxes? Volumizing? Yes. Lengthening? Yes. Keeps a curl? Yes. Flakey? No! I can't tell you how hard it is to find a mascara that I bond with instantly, but this little guy and I have a deep connection. I love the full effect I am left with after a few coats, and it was simple to remove at the end of the day.

I hope you can appreciate the shape my eyelashes are in in this photo; they never do much, so I need the best mascaras to put in that work.

Verdict

September's Kinder Beauty Box has a really nice array of products this month. I enjoyed using every product, especially the mascara and hand cream. Every month Kinder Beauty surprises me with new brands and different products and accessories that I genuinely love. Every product is cruelty-free and vegan and the value of each box usually triples the cost of the monthly subscription. This month’s box has a retail value of $79.99, a great value for a $26 box.
