cdrop boxes from claires

Hold onto your smiley face earrings, Claire's is moving into the subscription box space! The place where tweens and teens snag their accessories wants "to foster self-expression" among its audience without making them hit the mall. Say hello to cDrop, which dropped this week on the brand's website.

The brand will send curated boxes of accessories and jewelry to customers for $30 every quarter ($32 if you just sign up for one box rather than a longer subscription) with themes for different age groups:

GlitzyDrop

GlitzyDrop jewelry

A curation of 12 sets of earrings, from hoops to dangles to drops, this one is geared toward the 12+ set.

BitsyDrop

BitsyDrop toys and other goodies for kids

This box will include 5 to 7 "style" items and toys for the 3 to 8 age range.

VibeyDrop

layflat of teen accessories

This one is for trend-spotters to get products before they're all over TikTok ... or their middle school. Aimed at ages 9 and up, it will include 5 to 7 "trendy" items every three months.

Boxes are available now on the Claire's site, and subscribers will have the option to change boxes mid-subscription, swapping their choices at any time.

That bit alone sounds like it could be a big win for parents — kids grow so fast, and that means what's cool one day will be oh so babyish the next! This sub can actually grow with kids!

What do you think of cDrop? Let us know in the comments!

I’m seriously considering the bitsydrop but I need someone to try it for me first and tell me that it doesn’t suck lol

Got it for my almost 5 yo daughter and she loved it! Scrunchie, necklace/bracelet set, hair clips, earrings, fidget toy, mystery plushie, and nails.

My 9 year old would be tickled pink with the Vibeybox. So cute!! Why didn’t we have this in the 90’s??? Lol.

Huh, my 8 year old daughter has started asking for jewelry and hair clips and bras (???) lately. This may be one I file away for consideration later. Not sure the Claire’s in my local mall is open anymore!

Oh how I miss malls! Dang internet. I wish they made a nickel free earring option. Fun idea!

Maybe it’s just because I have such fond memories of going to Claire’s as a kid, but these boxes seem so fun!
