Beachly Beauty is a monthly clean beauty box that features 4-6 beach-inspired, cruelty-free, clean beauty products for skin, hair, and body care. Each box costs $29 but will have a value of $75 or more. Beachly also offers a quarterly seasonal box for women or men, stocked with apparel, accessories, and lifestyle items that have a beach-forward vibe and keep you feeling close to the ocean even if you’re landlocked.

This is a review of their monthly beauty box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

My goodies arrived in a coral pink Beachly box safely nestled in white sizzle!

The Beauty Products

Finn & Co White Sand Body Cream, 6.7 oz - Retail Value $38

This cream was love at first sniff. First off, the scent is certainly beachy, but more in a salty, driftwood sort of way. No overly sweet coconut smell here! It is clean and lingering but complements your personal perfume choice well. The cream itself is lightweight but effectively moisturizes my skin. This is one of those creams that you can totally apply to your arms and chest right before slipping into your favorite oversized open knit sweater for fall.

EiR NYC Hydrating Face Mist, 2 oz - Estimated Value $17.50 (buy 4 fl oz for $35)

I mean, it's a mist, so I already love it. And the formula is a blend of hydrating aloe and toning witch hazel with the scent of rose and jasmine? Sign me up. The misting nozzle is also a good one, meaning you can mist away throughout the day without harshly spraying yourself in the eyes. This mist is great for setting makeup, hydrating dry skin, layering between skincare, or just because.

Hanalei Papaya Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, 60 g - Retail Value $35

I love dry formulas because the ingredients remain inactive and potent until you add water. I actually use a similar product in my facials for a gentle exfoliation step. Both formulas contain papaya extract which helps detach dead skin cells from the face for a gentle exfoliation without any scrubbing. This makes it really ideal for anyone prone to redness or with sensitive skin. Simply add water in your hands (or mix in a bowl then apply with a brush, like I do in my studio!). The powder forms a slippy liquid that you can wash off immediately or leave on for a few minutes. In addition to papaya, this formula also contains pollen, allantoin, aloe, and collagen. There is a little bit of Isopropyl Palmitate near the end that can be comedogenic, but I generally don't worry too much if that sort of thing is at the end of an ingredient list and it is a product I will be washing off my face anyway. If you want to get really fancy, you could try mixing this with the Eir mist. Just saying.

Side note: do not sniff this stuff dry, out of the bottle. It will go straight up your nose and kind of hurt! And there really isn't much of a smell here anyways!

EARTH HARBOR NATURALS LAGUNA Replenishing Body Serum, 2 oz - Retail Value $26

I really like Earth Harbor and while this isn't my first bottle of this blue body serum, I am thrilled to have another. This serum feels incredible on the skin and is hydrating but still very lightweight. If you love the smell of blue tansy, you will notice it right away in this formula, along with a little sandalwood and lavender. I love applying this stuff before bed by warming a few drops in my palms then massaging onto my shoulder and arms.

Verdict

Beachly Beauty Box is such an interesting option in the beauty subscription box assortment. It feels minimal but has a good value and the beachiness feels very unique. The products this month were all pretty great (and totaled a value of over $116) and I can't imagine seeing this specific assortment in any other box. If you like quality skincare but prefer a curated selection, this is a box to certainly check out.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
