Vellabox always comes with a candle nestled inside a drawstring pouch. Included are info cards with more info on the candle, the surprise item, and the brands behind both!
Now, on to the candle:

This candle is sweet and fruity with a handful of rose petals. I think I was expecting something more, well, desert-like from the name, but I still like it. It does have a green note in there too which makes the whole scent feel pretty chic and more beach than desert to my nose. Regardless, I loved the flirty sweet vibes in my bedroom and found this candle to burn really evenly and bright, filling my room with a subtle scent that was just the right amount of strength.

As someone who prefers natural deodorant but has also discovered she is pretty baking soda sensitive, I was stoked to see this formula was baking soda free! It also smells wonderful and was as effective as a natural deo generally is. The only downside is that it is a cream and that means you get to apply it with your fingers which can feel less convenient than a stick form.

Vellabox isn't one of those subscriptions with some insane value, but rather a great way to spend the right amount of money on a single, high-quality candle. I always feel like this box is fair in pricing and the extra little surprise adds more value!
