Stitch Fix Kids is a personal styling service for kids from Stitch Fix. After filling out a survey, a stylist will pick items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all items, you also get a 25% discount!) Stitch Fix Kids offers sizes 2T-14.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this Fix. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we conduct reviews.)

First Impressions

Upon first look, it seemed like this was going to be a great box for my daughter! After noting the soft textures of the clothing and the fun designs, my daughter was eager to try everything on. Let's see how it went!

What's Inside

Since the kid's boxes come with ten pieces in them, it's always easy to find more than a few great styles each month. My daughter was excited about a lot of the items they sent and we found a few winners,  all with the convenience of never leaving our home!

This is the invoice that was sent in the Fix. It provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items in the pre-paid postmarked envelope they provide. The items for my daughter came to a total of $218, but with the 25% discount (which they take off BEFORE they deduct the $20) and the $20 credit, our total drops down to $143.50. That's a savings of $74.50 on this Fix.

This is the included style sheet, which features pictures of all the clothing and a note from her stylist, Alexis P. Her stylist always does a great job at listening to feedback and sending us fun items!

Adina Sneaker by Capelli New York, Size 3Y - Cost to Keep $24

These shoes are so fun and perfect for a young girl. I love the shiny rose gold color and of course, Liv loved the sparkly unicorn! They seemed to fit her well, but I didn't think they had quite enough wiggle room for us to keep them considering these would probably become fall shoes and her feet grow very quickly and sporadically. I think these would actually be a cuter choice in spring when she might get even more use out of them!

The Twist Front Graphic Tank by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18

This simple tank top was comfortable and cute with the fun sequin star detail and the little knot at the front. The shirt itself was fairly thin and while it was cute and something I'm sure she would be happy wearing, it was just a bit too big on her. This would probably be one she could keep and wear next summer barring any major growth spurts (although you never know with kids!).

The Twist Front Graphic Tank by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18

I didn't even realize it at first, but these are actually skorts, which I love because it's so much easier than reminding a young girl to watch her movements, or having to add some extra shorts underneath! The colors are bright and fun and the flowers give it a nice tropical, summery feel. I did feel like $20 was a bit much for this though.

Dalia Rope Detail Top by Chenault Girl, Size 8 - Cost to Keep $22

This top was another great tropical, summery option. I love the colors, the florals, and the fun rope-style straps. I thought it looked really cute on her, too! While this is definitely a nicer top and is well made, this is more the price point I'm comfortable with for my own tops and not something for my daughter which I know she will sadly outgrow pretty quickly.

The Knit Dolphin Short by Bixby Nomad, Size M - Cost to Keep $16

While I don't know if I would have paired these with the blue top as my daughter did, I think these shorts are cute and fun and keep with our tropical theme! The colors are great and she thought they were comfortable, too.

Byrona Tie Dye Front Top by Love Glam Girl, Size M - Cost to Keep $18

This was my daughter's favorite item in the box and I have to agree! The tie-dye style of the top is so fun and very on-trend and the lace details and tie front just add a whole other layer of cuteness. Of course, the message is a great one as well. This one is just a tad loose on her, but I love that she will be able to wear it throughout the fall too, possibly with a cute cardigan over it.

The Basic Legging by RUMI + RYDER, Size M- Cost to Keep $16

These leggings are a super stretchy, smooth material very similar to thicker tights. While they were super long on her, they actually fit her a little too snugly. She loves the fun little pups on the knees, though!

Kiki Cold Shoulder Top & Smocked Short Set by Crown of Hearts, Size M - Cost to Keep $26

This outfit is just so sweet! We both loved how soft and nice the material felt and I just adored the colors! All of the smocking and the loose fabric looked like it would be so adorable, but once it was on, I wasn't as big of a fan. The top just didn't fit her quite right and was almost too short on her so her midriff was showing. I almost wish the top had been a bit more form -itting so that we could really take note of the cute sleeves and neckline.

Kaylee French Terry Pullover + Short Set by Crown of Hearts, Size M - Cost to Keep $36

This was another super soft outfit choice and I was surprised Liv didn't go crazy over it just for the texture! I love the simplicity of it and how loose and cozy it looked, plus that sequined butterfly is beautiful! Again, though this felt like a bit too much for what would essentially be an at-home lounging outfit. I would, however, take one in my size!

Kaci On/Off Shoulder Ruffle Top w/ Schiffly Border by Chenault Girl, Size 8 - Cost to Keep $22

I love this shirt and how adorable the schiffli border is! The colors are beautiful and I thought it fit her well, also. I guess if I have to call out the other top for the price, this one would be the same, but somehow this one feels like a bit more of a special top to me and I'd probably be more likely to purchase something like this at that price point that I felt could be worn year-round with the addition of a cardigan.

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!
