Quirky Crate June 2021 Review

Quirky Crate celebrates their 4th anniversary this month! Congrats QC & crew! You rock 🙂

On the flip side of the card, Quirky Crate includes an itemized list of each product and its value. This month's theme is "Summer Daze," featuring bright, summery items.

Time to get quirky!

Pool Float Purse - Listed Value $38.00

As far as pool floats go, what is better than a flamingo? So summer, so fun! I am not particularly crazy about the design of this purse; the head keeps flopping down, which ruins the illusion, even after I folded it several times. What I do like about this purse is the roomy zippered compartment. My phone, wallet, and a few other essentials fit neatly inside without overcrowding.

Cat Eyed Sunnies - Listed Value $22.00

I absolutely love getting eyewear in subscription boxes! My collection of fancy sunnies expands, once again, with these cat eyeglasses which are not meant for the faint at heart; they are fierce!

I am a sucker for every shape of size of sunnies; they're all welcome on this face! They stay put, with no sliding or pinching, so I will definitely get a lot of wear out of them this summer.

Summer Mix Tape Enamel Pin - Listed Value $10.00

When it comes to nostalgic items, the mixed tape is absolutely in my top 5. I long for those nights I'd wait to hear the song I requested on the radio so I could record it, and constructing the perfect tape for your BFF or crush? There was nothing better! This pin is colorful, fun, and definitely wearable. I also appreciate the two pin-backs keeping this pin in place.

Hand Powered Fan  - Listed Value $7.00

I love this cute, useful accessory! You simply push the button on the side and you get a burst of air, no batteries required! The kitty ears and Tiffany Blue body take this fan from a potentially boring accessory to ultra-cute! Plus, this is so entertaining for my toddler, which makes it priceless to me.

Watermelon Socks- Listed Value $8.00

Yes! This is what summer is all about! And yes, I do wear socks in the summertime! I am a sock person 24/7/365 unless sandals are required. I love having warm cozy feet, and it never hurts to make it cute. QC’s socks are awesome quality; I reach for them more than any of my other socks because I love their medium-thick fabric, and they fit my 7.5 feet to a T.

Glitter Beach Ball - Listed Value $8.00

This beach ball was a fun addition to this month's box. I love the glitter that rises and falls inside and so does my son. We've been having a blast playing with all of QC's June box, actually. We aren't going to the beach this year, but we will have our own fun at home kicking and bopping this ball to each other.

Summer Sticker Sheet - Listed Value $4.00

My love of stickers is palpable; I have a sticker for every occasion, and one of my favorite past times is shuffling through my collection and choosing the right one. The summery designs on this sheet are adorable, and I especially love the sun in the right bottom corner. The stickers are QC branded and made in the USA.

The Verdict: June's Quirky Crate was full of summertime necessities! I really enjoy the items I can share with my son like the handheld fan and the beach ball, and everything else falls into the cute accessory or flair category, Quirky Crate's specialty! I feel seen when I open this box, and I know other subscribers who enjoy its contents are also unboxing saying “awww,” “cute!,” or “YASS!”. It is a fun, treat-yo’self type of subscription, which makes it worth every penny to me. The total value of this box adds up to $97, over double the $36.95 + $8.50 shipping subscription cost.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sign up today to receive July's shipment. You can also purchase past boxes for $40 if still available. From Quirky Crate:

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.95 + $8.50 shipping, which means that each of the 7 items in the box has an average cost of $6.49.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

I had to pause my sub because I am between homes and fear the package would get lost. Which means August will be a spectacular box. Resting sad face…
I better have a permanent address before their September Halloween box.

The socks are the best part lol.

I got a very similar beach ball at Dollar Tree (half is neon plastic instead of clear), & I highly recommend it. Kids in my sped class loved it, nephews loved it, etc.
