F.A.R.A.H Powder & Go Brush - Retail Value $28.00
I tend to enjoy larger fluffy brushes, but I really dislike double-ended brushes because you have to store them horizontally or smooth one end. So for that reason, this was a miss for me. I did like the pretty blue metallic handle though!

LAUREN CONRAD BEAUTY The Lip Gloss in 'Dawn', 11 mL
Oh, LC. Just hearing your name conjures up memories of MTV after school. And, in typical LC fashion, this gloss feels basic but still special. It has a soft, sweet scent and adds just enough to my lips to make them look polished, but never overdone or super loud. This formula does a great job of smoothing my lips and adding a little shine while providing a good boost of hydration.

AHAVA Active Moisture Gel Cream, 4 mL – Retail Value $48.00
This was an automatic pass for me because the AHAVA brand has a scent I just can't stand. My mom, however, loves it. So this gel went to her! She said she liked the instant cooling effect and how easily it absorbed. Mom wears scrubs daily, so a quick-absorbing lotion on her arms and legs is much preferable to something that is going to stick to the thinner cotton and drive her crazy all day.

TARTE SEA hydrocealer™ concealer in 12N Fair Neutral, 6 g – Retail Value $25.00
I have used this concealer before and I really like it. Sure, it is a little heavy for someone like me who is a makeup minimalist, but I have a secret to make it work. I apply my SPF all over my face and while it is still drying, I dab a few dots of this under my eyes, on my chin, forehead, and down my nose. Then I quickly blend it with the SPF for a sheer and really flattering coverage that feels light enough to suit me but also provides a nice even tone to my prone-to-redness skin.

WE ARE FLUIDE 7-Free Polish Duo in 'Titan Moon' & 'Far Infrared' – Retail Value $30.00
I am always down for adventurous nail colors that I might never have reached for myself. And this tan + orange duo is very unexpected! While the tan might not be ideal for my skin tone (I can see it being amazing on someone a little warmer!) the orange is a lot of fun! It feels like some sort of cosmic Cheeto shade that is weird enough for me to really love. Staying power here was pretty good on my diva-like nails and I loved how shiny the finish was.
Verdict: This wasn't my favorite IPSY Glam Bag Plus bag but there was enough in here to make me happy. The wins? Nail polish duo, tarte concealer, and the LC balm. The brush was just 'meh' and the AHAVA made a good mom-gift at least. I hope for a few more wins next month!
