It’s almost August and still no spoilers for the actual August base and premium!?!?

Choices were awful. I might have liked the lash serum, but by the time I got the email for choice nothing was left but the false lash kit. I’ll prob never use that. I just resubbed a few months ago, but I only did because I have so many charms to use up before I let go for good. I think next charm shop opening I’m going to burn them on whatever and cancel. Really upset about how awful it’s gotten since ipsy bought them.

I was disappointed with the choice too. The add-ons worked for me because I love Farsali skincare products, but absolutely refuse to pay overpriced retail.

I hate that Boxy advertises the boxes the way they do. That image is very misleading ad to what is actually sent out in their boxes. My BF just got her July box and it’s all “junk” compared to what they have in that picture. I’m going to resub anyway because I miss the sales. I’m merely pointing out that I think they should represent what is actually in their boxes better.

Sadly it has become just like Ipsy. I have had BC for about 5 years now. Everyone used to get the same items in every box, with the exception of two smaller items. It was all makeup too. Within the last year it’s gone way downhill. I for sure miss the old BC. BC was successful because they were so different from other sub boxes. Now with Ipsy I’m charge it is just like their box. They advertise one thing and put another in your box.

You don’t have to be a current subscriber to access the sales!

I love the bronzer. So was happy to pick that.

Resubbed after 2 years (I have $50 in charms to use before completely ditching them) and I am not impressed with the choice AT ALL or the lack of spoilers either. I did however think the add ons were good. It seems to be a hybrid of FFF product with Ipsy structure. I got an Hourglass brow pencil for $9- I am not mad at that LOL Super curious to see what will end up in the boxes..

What happened Boxycharm? You used to be so good. Go back to your old model. I will not spend another dime on overpriced add ons. This company has gotten greedy.

He was very personable and had great taste. I still love my Boxy Charm and want to wish him health and happiness no matter where he is.

Karen

Wait why did he leave?

Mrd

Because he sold BC to Ipsy.

So relieved that I cancelled. The FOMO was squashed haha

Its starting to follow ipsy model of add ons except there are no $3 or 5 dollar bundles. You can detect $12 levels, 18 dollar levels, and $24 levels. The specials are probably all that qre worthwhile. Mainly the $5 ones. I grabbed two becca blushes and the mac powder kiss trio Im grabbingnall the becca i can now before they become discontinued and expensive later.

I agree. I don’t know how they expect people to be OK paying double and triple the price on the same items now.

I agree with the other comments

Choice was awful. I ended up selecting the bb spf 40 cream since Hopefully by the time I get the box it will still be summer.

Not thrilled with the ad ons this month

The choices for Base Box were awful. And yes, add-ons were ridiculously priced. I didn’t buy one thing. My choice was the Lash product. Does anyone notice all the old products going through the rinse cycle? I have bad vibes about this box.. This may be the worst Box yet. Seriously.

Choice was so unimpressive with both Base and Premium boxes for Aug 2021. As for the Add On sale, the prices are double compared to what they were months ago??? Boxy needs to defiantly get in a corner for a time out.

Jenn

I agree. Pop up and add on prices have gone up and there aren’t as many good products as there used to be.
