Boxwalla Beauty Box August 2021 Spoilers

We have two spoilers for the August 2021 Boxwalla Beauty Box! Subscriptions just opened, so don't miss out. Here's a hint left on their Instagram:

✨August Beauty Theme: Confessions of a Daffodil.✨
.
It might seem that when Wordsworth said
that he was lonely as a cloud
when he saw a crowd
of daffodils, I was ten then,
learning to recite poetry,
perhaps contemplating
how words can prevent
the transience of flowers,
or perhaps not,
For what can a ten year old know
About aging, and fading away.

But if I was a golden daffodil
might not I confess
my friendship with rosehips
And how orange flowers can sometimes
Smell like Jasmine.
And of the myth behind my name?

I would invite you
Into a creamy cocoon
barely pink,
like the first blush
of roses, and offer you
a sip of aloe, perhaps a slice
of tomato, an apricot?

And as you sip & eat,
A charming English tea
I'd remind you (as a Wordsworth votary)
Of how
the heart with pleasure fills
when one dances with the daffodils.

Extra hint: there are two full-sized products with a combined value of $254 in each Boxwalla Beauty Box.

Each August Boxwalla Beauty Box includes:

  • This first product is a velvety dream - both in terms of its texture as well as how it makes the skin feel. Creamy, barely pink like the first blush of roses, it effortlessly cocoons the skin. A silken blanket that repairs, rejuvenates, hydrates & brightens as you sleep.  Made in a base of hydrating Aloe, the extracts of Narcissus (Daffodil!) & Camu Camu brighten the skin, Quinoa seed extract helps stimulate the synthesis of collagen, Oat flour soothes irritation, while Rosehip, Tomato seed, Buriti, Chia (& more!) provide a lipid boost to rejuvenate the skin.

  • If the first product is a velvet dream, this second one is liquid silk. Made in a base of hydrating & refreshing Neroli water, with antioxidant-rich Bilberry fruit extract, brightening Narcissus/Daffodil extract, and the gentlest concentration of AHAs (making this great even for sensitive skin), this exquisite formula was designed to brighten the skin, even skin tone (by reducing hyperpigmentation) & restore radiance to dull skin.

FULL details on what's inside the August Boxwalla Beauty Box will drop on August 1st. Stay tuned!

I’m surprised that MSA didn’t do any analysis on the spoilers to figure out what the actual products are! They definitely would have in the good ol’ days (Liz). Well, I did, and I’m pretty sure this is what will be in the box:

Votary Intense Overnight Mask 1.7 oz — $136 RV
Votary Brightening Hyaluronic Serum 1.7 oz — $118 RV

Total RV of $254.

I am so excited for this box and so excited to keep subscribing to this box. My first box was June.
The curator seems amazing and I actually really enjoy the newsletters she puts out as well as the thought (and value!) that she puts into this box.

Can someone remind me how easy it is to cancel this sub? I want this box but only this box. I’ve had Boxwalla before and I think it was fairly easy to cancel but I don’t want any hassles and I’ve got enough subs going right now.

Easy as pie! It an be a bit confusing navigating to the “cancel subscription” on their website but you can also email her and she will respond quite quickly, I have found.

It’s very easy to cancel.

Thanks ladies.

I have canceled twice before and never had any problems. I have also re-subscribed on the same account both times and it was pretty easy. Just do it before the cutoff date which shouldn’t be too much of a problem since the boxes come every other month.

Boxwalla used to be my favorite sub box but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get the last 3 boxes (including this one) because the products include essential oils, which my skin can’t tolerate. It’s a major bummer for me and my sensitive skin (totally allergic to essential oils)

That said, Votary is great and these are fantastic products for those with hardier skin than mine.

It is both frustrating and a relief that so many skincare boxes lately have been including products with essential oils. Great for people who can tolerate them, guess we have more money for other things now!
