This is like the third month that msa hasn’t posted spoilers or that the beautyfix box is available, when they come out. Why is that?

Also this new website is very hard to navigate!

I FINALLY have a refund for the fraudulent charge pending in my bank account , however that does not change my stance on Dermstore, the way the rude and incompetent customer service reps handled the issue was ridiculous, im taking my business elsewhere and will never look back.

Has anyone gotten a notification that they are shipping another box to them? I just got one. I already received my first one. My bank is making me wait until the 30th to see if they fix it themselves before they will let me put in a dispute, but I am afraid that now they are sending me a box, they will say I owe them for it (even though they charged me double!!) and I don’t want this second box!!

This happened to a lottttt of people. I finally just got a refund of $34.95 even though I was charged $40.83. I was at least able to keep the box.

OK, they finally refunded my money, too, but they refunded it all ($42 and change), and they sent an email to me, stating that if I received a box I didn’t order I could keep it and there also would be a$25 credit automatically applied to my account to use on their website.

So i did get refunded by my bank, i give up dealing with the incompetent morons that work for Dermstore,has anyone heard of the beauty box called Testtube? Any opinions on it? Looking for a another box with more high end skin care and such.

I love test tube! it was sooo good this month. I just opened mine (not trying to self promo, sorry) on youtube (kittys boxes) on wednesday and it was amazing.

I did the same thing, after 5 days of Dermstore’s vague promises that someone from their team will get to me and nothing happening, I took it to my bank. They are dealing with them now. It used to be a great company with amazing customer service, apparently that’s no more the case. I used to subscribe to TestTube and overall liked it, it’s every other month and boxes usually have a good variety, sometimes I was really happy, other times it was a disappointment, depends on your personal preferences.

As of right now i keep going through the same thing over and over , they keep asking for information on the charge ( which I’ve already sent 4 times) my suggestion is we call our banks and tell them whats going on and start a claim to get refunded,we will get refunded by our banks, I’m going to keep working on this because it’s infuriating that they are refusing to take responsibility for all this and refund customers also we should all spread the work of what’s happening and boycott this awful company!!

That’s exactly what I have been dealing with since last Sunday. They keep asking me which credit card got charged even though I have only one card on file with them and this false charge does not show on my Dermstore account, only in my bank statement. After them basically ignoring my concern for the last 5 days, I called my bank today and they are dealing with Dermstore now.

I also just got a Dermstore charge of $44.10 for “July 2021 Dermstore Child.” I also got an email that said this has shipped. I have already received and paid for my July box. I will be disputing this with my credit card. Have been on hold for an hour now with them. Bye Dermstore.

For those who don’t know Dermstore is going up in flames, they have sold to a company in the Uk, changed their platform, closed the phone lines for the time being and have been stealing money from customers left and right ( myself included i got a fraudulent charge on my credit card) please go to the Dermstore Facebook pg and read the comments , its CRAZY, they are also refusing to pay me back ( i sent them screenshots of my bank statements) and telling me i have to go through my bank to get refunded, it’s happening to TONS of people , I suggest if you are a Beautyfix subscriber and they have your bank info to cancel immediately , does anyone know of any other good skincare boxes to get? ( besides Birchbox)

Terri, are you referring to the UK company The Hut Group? They own GlossyBox,& LookFantastic and Dermstore appears to be now running on the same sort of coding as those two.

Don’t know if this answers your question, but the phone number my credit card gave me for their business had a weird message that mentioned the Hutt Group. The person speaking had a British accent.

Yes, I just got a charge for over $40! (It is currently pending, though)I checked my account and it doesn’t show an order. I am going to dispute this immediately and of course I tried to call Dermstore and they are closed even though their posted hours say they are open for another hour! I do get Beautyfix and I also have already been charged for this month!

I used the chat on site (took screen shots as I went) Got the run around. She apologized for ‘duplicate charge’ but couldn’t answer why the second charge was almost twice the usual. I was told there would be a financial investigation. I told her to cancel my subscription and had to keep telling her that as a representative of the company she could and would cancel me. She finally did after I told her I was taking screen shots of the conversation and site for Chase Bank to deal with

OMG I just checked my account and I have a charge for $43.29 from Dermstore too! I have not ordered anything and this is not the price of the monthly box. I tried to contact them and just like you and Terri said the phones are blocked even though you are calling during business hours. I had sent them an email a couple of days ago asking about my account because I couldn’t see my order history and received a weird email reply about them moving websites and basically telling me there was no way to speak to anyone for a few days. Thank you for the heads up Terri & Gina!

This fraudulent charge does not show in my Dermstore order history, I saw in on my credit card statement. When I reached out to them, via email, they can’t seem to find it either, they keep asking me for my card info of the credit card they charged.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I have a fraudulent charge from them for $44 which they claim is for my BeautyFix subscription, for a completely wrong amount and after I have already paid for and received my subscription box this month. No help from their customer services or refund this far, going cancel through my bank and never buy anything from them again.

Chris the EXACT SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME WITH MY BANK. I get to call back after it is “posted” instead of “pending”. I tried to explain the situation to them and was told that since I’ve done business with Dermstore in the past (my monthly box) they can’t file it as FRAUD since I technically gave them my card info. I tried to explain that I certainly didn’t give them approval to make this charge and that should be clear by going through my account and seeing a charge for $26.95 (not $43.29) every month on the first of the month (not the 15th) but she said that there might be some language written into the subscription box contract without knowing it that allows them to charge my card!!!!!!!! WTH!?!?! There is no way that is true. So I have to call back tomorrow (or whenever it actually shows as posted instead of pending). I’ve also been on hold with Dermstore for 30 minutes now. I have been defending this box for months now and this happens. Good grief! Oh well, I guess that is an extra $26.95 in my pocket every month. My list of subscriptions has now gone from 13 down to 2!

I spoke to my bank, Chase, today, and mentioned that apparently many other Dermstore customers have the same issue. Chase has refunded me right away and they said they will take over from here. Maybe something you could do also to save yourself more aggravation and time on the company that values their customers so little.

Add me to the list! Just got charged another $41.74. The order does not show in my account, though. I had to search and I finally found it in subscription titled as BeautyFIX July 2021 – Child. Clicked on the link and I get page not found.WTF is Child?
Spent a stupid amount of time on the phone with the bank. Closed the card. Then when it shows as posted I get to call them again to dispute the transaction. #pissedoff

Just NO…. Read the ingredients on the full size… A company can set a retail super high on a crap item. This is a great example.

The inclusion of Juice Beauty always brings down a box. It’s got a Manna Kaddar feel now. Otherwise, there are some nice items in the box. Still miss old BF

I think they only post those when all the items are revealed. I saw on fb yesterday that they had 3 out of 4 revealed. They were supposed to reveal the last one today. They might have revealed it already and if so I am expecting MSA to post it pretty soon.

This box feels so boring to me. I wonder who decided on the packaging for the full size item. It doesn’t appeal to me at all. I know it’s what inside that counts, but you got to appeal to customers with what’s outside first.

I know some people hate on this subscription but remember this box don’t send DLS junk, private label crap and the brands it includes are the regular products it sells, it’s not specifically made for the box meaning it produces an inferior product made in China but tries to pass it off as the real brand, 111Skin I’m looking at you.

If you go back a year or more, ALL BeautyFix boxes are absolutely stellar. You can check them all out here on MSA. Literally, items are full sized and there are 4-6 of them, then a few samples too. But they’ve halved their product offerings and they’re only sending samples! it’s crazy.

Seriously, just check out boxes from 2019 and earlier. It’s like a different sub.

Stephanie I am 100% with you on this. Next month will be my last month for all of my boxes except this one and Macy’s for this exact reason. They are the only 2 boxes left in a reasonable price point that send real products. I’m cancelling my IPSY, IPSY Plus, IPSY X, Boxycharm base (I already canceled my Premium and Luxe), Birchbox (even Birchbox has started sending crap-that refillable multipurpose stick was the last straw with them), TestTube (OMG do not get me started on this hot mess) and Allure (I prepaid for a year with Allure back when they had the deal-HUGE mistake so I won’t be renewing). I’m only keeping BeautyFix and Macy’s. I think the price is completely reasonable for BeautyFix and I love getting samples of real products that I might actually purchase the full size of. In fact, BeautyFix is where I have found several of my holy grails. My last IPSY Plus was full of CRAP CRAP CRAP. $25 for 5 full size products does not matter if you can’t use any of the products whereas the full size Holi Frog cleanser from last month’s BeautyFix is awesome!

Seriously, what their customer service has been doing lately is literally unbelievable, as in you would not believe me and think I was making it up it’s so insane. And that is just the customer service, not to mention the absolute dumpster fire the box contents have been lately. And I’m not even referring to the full sized tube of toothpaste! 🙂

The serum is full size and retails at $92. I’m excited for that. But if you don’t want that item then ya the box isn’t worth it. I miss the old boxes when they had more items and an awesome hero item!

For real. A lot of people may not know how awesome they used to be. Full boxes with a couple full size items and plenty of samples. Promo codes making the box $20 even $15! The change is super noticeable and definitely a downgrade no matter how one dices it.
