Stitch Fix Kids June 2021 Review

This is the invoice that was sent in the Fix. It provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items in the pre-paid postmarked envelope they provide. The items for my daughter came to a total of $178, but with the 25% discount (which they take off BEFORE they deduct the $20) and the $20 credit, our total drops down to $113.50. That's a savings of $64.50 on this Fix.

This is the included style sheet, which features pictures of all the clothing and a note from her stylist, Alexis P. I didn't have any requests this month, but she usually does a great job, so let's check out what she sent!

Valentina Two-Piece Rashguard Set by Limited Too, Size 7/8 - Cost to Keep $28.00

Liv actually doesn't need a swimsuit and if she did, I'm not so sure this is really her style. It is fun and bright and I like that the top is a rashguard style, but we usually stick to one-piece suits. They just tend to stay on her a little better once she has been in the water. This one was a tad baggy on her, but overall it seemed to fit her okay!

Val Fit and Flare Dress by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $24.00

This fun watermelon pattern looks familiar, maybe she was sent a pair of shorts in this pattern before? It's cute and fun for summer and the dress has pockets, which is always something Liv enjoys! It seemed to fit her well, even though it's slightly bigger on her. Also, side note: don't mind the big mark on her forehead, she scraped it on the swing at a friend's house and while it didn't hurt, it is a very noticeable little boo-boo!

The Basic Legging by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $12.00

Her stylist also sent these leggings in the same fun pattern as the dress. As you can see, they are a bit big and long on her so she wasn't a fan. This pattern doesn't have quite the same summer vibe when it's on long pants!

The Side Tie Tee by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $14.00

This top is a nice lightweight shirt in a great color with a cute little tie detail at the bottom. It's flowy and stretchy and could easily be worn well into the fall, too!

The Active Skort by Runway, Size M - Cost to Keep $22.00

Liv loved this fun active skort! The colors are really so pretty and she liked that she could move and play around in it without showing off her underwear. I thought it was really cute and something a little bit different to try! If she ever took up tennis, this would be perfect!

The Everyday Graphic Tee by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $16.00

I didn't realize this shirt had something on the back until she went to take photos in it. There is a cute glittery unicorn on the front with the words "unicorns believe in me" on the back. This was just an okay shirt, the material didn't seem to have the same quality as some of the other items though.

The Knit Dolphin Short by RUMI + RYDER, Size M- Cost to Keep $16.00

Liv recently tried on this pattern in some leggings, I believe, but the pattern is so much cuter on shorts for some reason! The colors are really pretty and fun, but the gray color of the shorts makes them easy to pair with a top!

Edyn Swing Tank by Chenault Girl, Size 8 - Cost to Keep $16.00

This top was a huge hit once I showed Liv that I had a very similar tank top of my own (swipe all the way through to see them side by side). This top is so comfortable, cute, and flowy. It was one of her favorite items this month! I thought it looked great on her.

The Cross Back Tank by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $16.00

This last outfit was Liv's favorite outfit this month. It was comfortable, cute, and perfectly summery with the colors and the adorable flamingos on the shorts. She asked to keep this one before she even tried it on! I like the color of the top a lot and the criss-cross detail adds some interest to what is otherwise a very basic tank.

The Pom Pom Jersey Dolphin Short by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $16.00

These shorts are actually the same pattern that was featured on the dress she was sent last month. While we loved the pattern, the dress itself wasn't a good fit, but these shorts were perfect. In fact, I think this pattern is even cuter on the shorts with the matching pom pom trim!

The Verdict: Liv really enjoyed the items in her Stitch Fix Kids delivery this month! There were lots of cute, fun summer styles that all seemed to fit her very well. There's not much more we could ask for! I thought this was a very reasonably priced fix, too. It's always so nice to be able to try everything on in the comfort of our own home on our own schedule, too!

Value Breakdown: This styling service costs $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $178.00. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, but if I keep all of the items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the Fix is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $113.50. That’s a discount of around 36% for these items!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I don’t have small kids so I don’t subscribe to these styling services for clothes but I have to tell you that your daughter is so cute. I feel like we have watched her grow up in snippets and photos here !! She is adorable and reminds me of my 8 yr old granddaughter!! Curls and all!! Love it!!
