ShoeDazzle is a monthly clothing, accessories, and shoe subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – almost everything is only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Showroom’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how JustFab, Fabletics, and AdoreMe work.

ShoeDazzle Plus June 2021 Review

Plus Size Zip-Front Denim Dress in Medium Wash, Size 3x— Retail Value $64.95 or VIP Price $44.95 (Currently sold out)

I usually avoid lighter rinse denim pieces, but I was drawn to this dress immediately! It was truly a must! In addition, I had a 40% Style Points VIP discount and got this beauty for even less, which was a no-brainer, right? The cut on this dress is so classic and versatile. The fabric is ultra stretchy and the zipper is fantastic because you can make this as tame or sultry as you like! This piece will hug your body in all the right ways. I wanted to style this dress in two different ways to show its adaptability for yinz. First, I wanted to style it without any layering for warmer weather. I wanted something simple, but effortlessly cool so I paired this piece with killer white ankle booties and Skunk dice earrings made by yours truly. The look is simple but fierce! I would wear this for a date night to see a band play in a dirty dive bar for sure!

I also wanted to show how this awesome dress looks with layered elements. This outfit is something high school Nicole would have been salivating over-- something straight out of Sassy Magazine, I tell ya! I went with a long-sleeved, mock turtle neck, mesh see-through psychedelic print top underneath the dress, another pair of retro earrings made by yours truly, and the Tanasha slip-on heels I also ordered for this review. I love how the shoes and earrings pull out colors from the top and really tie the whole outfit together. I would definitely wear this out to a drag show with friends on Saturday night (I cannot wait for those days to return!).

This dress would also look fantastic in the fall and winter months: imagine this with a black and white striped t-shirt, faux leather biker jacket, patterned tights, and booties for something a bit more understated, but incredibly chic. You will have endless possibilities with a dress like this one!

Tanasha Slip-on Stiletto Sandal in Hawaiian Ocean, Size 9.5-- Retail Value $46.95, VIP Price $29.95

I am forever searching for the cha cha heels of Dawn Davenport's dreams. These feel less Dawn Davenport and more Peggy Bundy, which is obviously fine by me! I have a high instep and wider than average feet, so the struggle to find shoes that fit is forever real, folks! These shoes fit length-wise for sure, but I think a slightly wider width would have been the ticket! I can get these gorgeous heels on, but they are a smidge tighter on my instep than I would prefer. The material isn't terribly stretchy, but maybe the more I wear them they will provide a slight bit more give? I also would prefer a slightly thicker and lower heel, but beggars can't be choosers. Regardless of my few grievances, I couldn't say no to these blue shoes; I just will stuff my feet into these suckers like one of Al Bundy's customers, dang it! If you prefer neutrals to this beautiful blue shade, no worries-- these come in black, white, and snake print as well! You can wear these anywhere from the couch with a box of bonbons to a night on the town in your favorite leopard print body con dress to the office with cigarette pants and a short-sleeved sweater set. Either way you go, you will look phenomenal with these retro stunners on your feet!

Verdict: This month's ShoeDazzle was a total winner! I am absolutely obsessed with the denim sleeveless dress! It is definitely one of my all-time favorite ShoeDazzle finds. The Tanasha heels are precious too and fit my love for all that is kitschy and retro. I was so excited to find another plus-size clothing item on the site to review for yinz-- the pickings sadly can be rather slim! However, I struck gold this month-- can you tell how excited I am? Items like this dress keep me hanging on with Shoedazzle-- plus they have a wonderful VIP incentives program and various sales throughout the year! I managed to get the denim dress this go around for an extra 40% off due to their killer points program and my Onyx status! This month was so phenomenal--  I wonder if next month we will continue to be on this roll of fantastic finds!

What did you think of this month's piece? Are you excited to see what I get next month as well?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sadly, the dress is sold out, but the Tanasha Slip-on Heels are still available in all colors on the ShoeDazzle site!

Value Breakdown: The Plus Size denim dress and Tanasha shoes retail for $111.90, but as a VIP member with my promo offer I scored it for $56.92! If you are a new VIP, you could get both pieces for $74.90, which is still an incredible deal! That is roughly a 34% savings from the retail price as a new VIP Member! What an amazing saving!

I have a super high instep as well, it’s such a bummer to fall in love with a shoe and not be able to get it onto my foot. I bought a set of inexpensive shoe stretchers off Amazon specifically for this issue and they have been a game changer.

I’m a very unpleasant person when my feet hurt “Hulk angryyyy!!!” so my only regret is not getting them sooner. 🙂

Hi Melissa, I too have a very high instep and wide feet. I never thought to buy a shoe stretcher. I figured it wouldn’t work. Can you provide a link to the exact one that you bought since we know that worked? And Nicole asked if you used it along with a spray. Do you?
Thanks so much in advance!

Oooh, Melissa! I might need to try that out! Do you get a spray or one of those devices you insert in the shoe… or both? I am curious because I sure have a few pairs that could use a nice stretching. And thanks for your comment and checking out my review! I am glad someone else gets the pains of having a high instep!
