Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. In fact, it’s one of our readers’ top picks for Best Fitness Subscription Boxes of 2021! The VIP Membership is $49.95/month and allows you to choose from outfits and sets that have been put together just for members at a discounted price.

COUPON: Get 70% off your entire order. No coupon needed - just use this link.

You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:

  • Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
  • Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new VIP members.
  • Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.

Put simply, this subscription won’t automatically send you monthly packages as other services do. (But they will automatically charge you if you take no action.) You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call Fabletics customer service to do so.

Fabletics VIP Membership Review – June 2021

Hello, summer! I can hardly believe that it has been almost a full month since school was last in session. Our summer vacation is flying by and I feel like haven’t accomplished a thing! One of my summer goals is to get up and get moving. Between morning video workouts and maintaining our garden, I have been achieving that goal in style with my new Fabletics outfit. Comfort and coverage are my essentials when it comes to working out, so this month’s outfit was almost like it was made just for me. Check it out below!

Bonus Razor

As a little bonus this month I was sent a “Skintimate Bloom” razor. Pretty in pink and with 4 blades, this seemingly basic razor worked exceedingly well to get a close shave, especially when paired with the Dollar Shave Club Shave Butter I received in my Walmart Box!

Retreat 2-Piece Outfit – Retail Value $119.90 / VIP Member Price $64.95 or 1 VIP Member Credit

Back in February, I ordered a pair of Drew Sweatpants that have become an absolute necessity in my everyday life, so when the “Retreat” outfit popped up as a recommendation, I just had to scoop it up. Featured in three colors, the Go-To Sweatpants are slightly lighter in weight than February’s pair, but just as snuggly and cozy. These sweats are the perfect length with just the right amount of elastic on each cuff. The thick waistband is perfectly comfortable for working out and lounging. The only thing that I would change about these pants is the length of the drawstring. It is insanely long and sometimes gets in the way, but could easily be shortened with a pair of scissors. Because these pants retail for $54.95 alone, I was stoked to see them as a complete outfit with a top for the $49.95 member credit price. The Blake Short-Sleeve Long Tee is moisture-wicking and made from polyester. I enjoyed the fact that it was not ribbed but made the mistake of sizing up. This basic white top is flowy and comfortable but does nothing to enhance a figure. While it was a little too big, I was able to knot it in the middle to make it look a little more trendy. All in all, I was very happy with this month’s choice and have enjoyed lounging about in it a little too much!

Styled a variety of ways, this month’s outfit was quite versatile and extremely comfortable, allowing me to jog, bike, and lounge without any re-adjusting. I have to say wearing the shirt with a knot was my favorite look, and now I am actually happy I sized up, but my very favorite look is the sweats paired with a fitted black tee for a little more contrast.

The Verdict: This month of Fabletics was a real treat! Because I am off in the summers, our mornings are a lot more relaxed and outfits like this are my go-to. While I was hoping to find something a little more vibrant in color, I was very pleased with the versatility this month’s outfit offered, and am always happy with the quality. That being said, I would have a very hard time spending retail price on either of these products but can say that the quality alone is definitely worth the $49.95 member credit price. Like I have mentioned before, it is easy to hit the incorrect button and use your $49.95 credit on an item that is cheaper than the $49.95, but if full sets are what you are looking for, this is a pretty good deal! I can’t wait to see what styles they drop next month!

Can you still get this set if you sign up today? Yes, all items are still available but in limited sizes.

Value Breakdown: If you were to order the items without using your membership credit, you would pay $10 more than the monthly $49.95.

While I am taking a time-out from being a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, I am currently staying at home with my 2 sweet boys! My first subscription was Julep thanks to happening upon the MSA website, and it all went downhill from there! I have subscribed to Ipsy, Boxycharm, Degustabox, Julep, Graze, Bluum, Walmart, and more because I love a good surprise! I truly am a subscription addict!

And don’t be an idiot like me…make sure that the items that you buy aren’t “final sale” items. I didn’t realize that I had done this, and assumed that I could return the items that didn’t fit for the correct size. Wrong. I’m stuck with a bunch of items in the wrong size. Damn! What a waste of $$$.

I really, really love my Fabletics stuff. I bought a ton of stuff when I signed up for 70% off. GREAT DEAL! My only disappointment is the lack of crop leggings. It’s either ankle/almost ankle length, of shorts that are too short. Wish there were more just-below-the-knee options with pockets.

If you are on the fence, do it! It’s easy to skip each month.
