The Cubscription Box “Good Vibes” Spring 2021 Review

This quarter’s theme is “Good Vibes” and we received this booklet which highlights all of the items in our box with cute little rhymes about each of them. The back features a rhyme about how we need to name our sloth just like you would at an actual B.A.B. Factory.

Exclusive Cubscription Build-A-Bear Sloth

How fun is this rainbow sloth? It’s very different from the more plain bears we have received and in addition to being adorable, he is also very soft and cuddly. He has a nice shiny embroidered heart on his chest and the B.A.B logo on his hand. This cute sloth on their website retails for about $15, although ours is a bit bigger!

Exclusive Cubscription Mini Bomber Jacket

Our matching apparel this quarter are these fun white and blue bomber jackets with cute rainbow bear logos on the front and colorful text that reads “good vibes only” on the back. The sloth version is much smaller and features button closures down the front. It’s pretty cute!!

Exclusive Cubscription Bomber Jacket, Size 6/7

The kid version is bigger and features a zipper closure and has front pockets. I actually kind of wish they had used the blue buttons for this one too because it looks cute, but the zipper is probably more practical. The jacket is nice and thin and it fits my son well and even fits my daughter who is in a size 8 typically. We are happy that they have the matching apparel again because it is just so much more special when you get to match your animal!

Exclusive Cubscription Slap Bracelet

This box features lots of wearables and this silicone-coated slap bracelet is a fun one! If you prefer a more simple design, you can slide the bear logo off for a simple band!

Exclusive Cubscription Lanyard

So I’m not sure exactly what my son will use this for since he has no credit cards or ID, but this lanyard is really well made with lots of great features and details. The front has several pockets for cards and a fun shimmery paw print while the back has another clear pocket. There is a cute charm at the top and the ribbon itself is double-sided with a colorful pattern on the back and the bright “good vibes only” text on the reverse.

Exclusive Cubscription Phone Amplifier

Our last item is really cool and unique, it’s a phone amplifier so it makes the sound of music from your phone louder. I have always just put my phone into a glass bowl or dish to amplify the sound but this is much more convenient since it can hold your phone up, although mine was a tight fit with a case on it. It did work well to amplify the sound so this will be nice to take to the park or beach for when we want to listen to some tunes!

Verdict: My son was so excited to see a sloth in his Cubscription box and he absolutely loved that they both received matching jackets. It’s just so much more special when they have matching clothing items! I thought everything seemed to be of great quality and there were some unique items like the slap bracelet and phone amplifier. And of course, it doesn’t hurt that our sloth is super cute! This box costs $36.99 ($29.99 + $7 shipping) which seems like a pretty fair price for exclusive Build-A-Bear items that included stylish matching jackets!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, the Summer 2021 box is now available, though!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $29.99 + $7 shipping, which means that each of the 6 items in the box has an average cost of about $13.00.
