This box is currently available as an add-on with a beauty purchase on the Macy’s site.

Also, if you missed the January box with that hair straightener, Macy’s has a “Created for Macy’s 9-Pc. Hair Care Routine Favorites Set” on sale for $21, which includes all of the items from the box (minus the perfume sample), plus a few more – Fatboy Defining Finish texture spray, Sunday Riley Scalp Serum, Drybar Jumpstart Blowout Serum, and what looks like a very nice large holographic makeup bag (honestly I remember they were selling one last year for like $20 or something).

They are also offering a mystery sampler AND a free deluxe size product (the drop-down selection has like 20 to choose from) with a beauty purchase, so you are definitely not missing out on much with that perfume.

Did anyone receive their May box yet? Wondering if it’s a $5 or $10 coupon with it this month 🙂

Thanks so much!

Y’all ever watch the videos on Macy’s website featuring these items?

https://www.macys.com/subscription/beauty-box

The little video made me way more excited than just the photos! But I always come to MySubscriptionAddiction.com first to see the spoilers 🙂 I was discouraged reading the comments, but I am excited to try some of these new products after watching the video.

I forgot about the videos. Love that perfume. I am always way happier with Macy’s vs Birchbox. Love Macy’s

I love that perfume. But the rest ain’t doing it for me this time around

I’ve been with Macy’s Beauty Box for years. The curation post pandemic shut-down has been so spotty. Last month it was 2 black eye pencils. This month it’s 4 face items that all peel or exfoliate. Plus a primer? Why not a soothing cream or toner or, well, anything but 4 exfoliating items. Each time lately I say ‘Well….I’ll use them or trade them…but I’m not excited.’

I have chosen not to cancel because their items are brand name (no Alibaba, private label stuff), and it’s not easy to resub, plus FOMO. But for around 16 bucks? Surely I could do better?

I’ve been on their wait list for months, why does it take that long?

Darn…I new there was a reason I haven’t signed up for the Macy’s box. The wait-list is INSANE! That sucks, I really would love to have this bag. :/
Guess I should go ahead and get ON the waitlist though. Lol.
How long have you been waiting??

Same here! I don’t know what the hold up is.

The Macy’s Mother’s Day gift is now 24.95 great deal. It was reviewed here.

There’s a flash sale today, 40 – 50% off on beauty, including some kits and an assortment of perfumes. Also, “Opt for in-store pickup to avoid the $10.95 shipping charge, or spend $25 to get free shipping.”

Thank you! Just ordered one 😊

These sizes listed above cannot be true….

Reply ButtonReply

shakingmyhead

Yep, no way those are the real sizes. I would be subscribing in a heartbeat if they were, lol.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

You wouldn’t be getting this month’s box if you subscribed right now anyway.

Chantel

Especially not the 3 oz perfume. Probably .3oz?

Monique

I’m shocked that people complain about the allure box when I see how skimpy this box is for $15 for a bunch of samples.

I used to get the Allure box, and I loved it for the price that it was. (This was before they raised their prices) But then I started getting a lot of off-brand products that I didn’t want, and then they raised their prices.
The reason (I believe) that it takes so long to get on Macy’s list is because the products they send out are products that people want to try before they buy. The name recognition is there, and therefore, there is more confidence in the products.
I love my Macy’s box!

Becca

I was thinking the same, lol.

This is a pretty nice selection.

that sunday riley i got somewhere else definitely irritated my skin. i got spotty and red. i don’t think i’m used to vitamin c products. might be user error or the fragrance. my neighbor told me it looked good bc it looked like i had gotten some sun LOL

the products look TINY

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Yeah, Timeless Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid serum.

Reply ButtonReply

Smc

Yea it’s not a good one. You are prob sensitive to the essential oils they unnecessarily add. Totally over hyped and over priced. Try timeless- it’s economical and always cited as one of the best vit c serums. I think it’s $20-$25. I love it.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

It’s just not a well-formulated Vitamin C product. You might have better luck with something else.

This is such old news. This was posted on r.eddit weeks ago, and recently again with a much clearer photo.

The sizes in the photo above is what we will receive, FYI

Curateur summer spoilers are out now too. I hate to think it, but I may need to switch addiction sites. I like knowing the spoilers as soon as they are available and this site no longer does that. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

I know, this has been going on for months now. I just don’t think they care anymore and written off this investment. They need to find someone who’s crazy for sub boxes as much as their readers are.

Rebecca

I don’t know if it’s bad hiring or poor oversight, but the people they have should be able to stay on top of this. My husband and I both work for websites and are responsible for posting twice what MSA puts up in a day, including content generation. This has become an afterthought for whomever took it over, the competitive spirit to be first just isn’t there anymore. Now it’s the same posts over and over about home meal subscriptions.

JuJu

I think they don’t have the money to hire enough people to stay on top of it all.

Hanna

I agree with Stephanie. New owners are doing a horrible job. They either do not read the comments or they read them but don’t care. So many people have expressed in the comments that they are upset at the late reviews, missing spoilers, incorrect info, pop ups etc. Yet they never address or acknowledge any of them.

Annette

Very misleading!!

Reply ButtonReply

Haylee

This post is misleading. It lists the full size amounts with huge pictures, but it is obviously just tiny samples.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashleigh

Thanks for pointing this out! I was certainly kicking myself for missing this one otherwise…

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

I had to do a double check as well even though they do show the tiny samples that will be received. Would love to try the high mask.
