This box is currently available as an add-on with a beauty purchase on the Macy’s site.
Also, if you missed the January box with that hair straightener, Macy’s has a “Created for Macy’s 9-Pc. Hair Care Routine Favorites Set” on sale for $21, which includes all of the items from the box (minus the perfume sample), plus a few more – Fatboy Defining Finish texture spreay, Sunday Riley Scalp Serum, Drybar Jumpstart Blowout Serum, and what looks like a very nice large holographic makeup bag (honestly I remember they were selling one last year for like $20 or something).
They are also offering a mystery sampler AND a free deluxe size product (the drop-down selection has like 20 to choose from) with a beauty purchase, so you are definitely not missing out on much with that perfume.
Good luck using the coupon that comes with this box. Most of them do not work and customer service is garbage. They do not know how to give you another code.
If you have a store, go in and use it. The code isn’t specific in store. Don’t ever bother calling CS on the beauty box. They know absolutely nothing. It’s really pathetic and will cause you nothing but grief. I had a similar issue when they didn’t send the insert so I didn’t get the coupon. I was on the verge of tears by the time I finally got off the phone. I’ve never had such a terrible experience. It doesn’t help that they out source to other countries and that they don’t count the beauty box as part of their training so it is impossible. You should read the comments on their Facebook page, it’s 90% people that are really upset. I did find that I got a partial solution by messaging them through FB, but it was not the first time I had a problem with the bag.
That has NEVER been the case for me. They just sent me a $10 off one in my June box that I tried over and over to enter. After speaking to 8 different customer service agents and wasting 2.5 hours of my time, no resolution could be made. It was like on one on their end could think of a way to resolve the problem. All they could do was argue with me that it had been used and even gave me an order number and date it was used. I told them this was not me and they could view my order history to check. I guess they might have sent out some duplicates or something. I have often had problems with these tho especially recently after the changed the requirements.
I got mine today. I am so in love with that Armani lipstick. I have always been a Maybelline girl, but the one we got is gorgeous and feels so nice on my lips. Going to see if I can get a full size using the coupon we got. Lovely box.
I got a $10 coupon this month! I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do with the beauty supplements case though. If it were for daily pills it should have 7 compartments. There are six little compartments, 4 small and 2 twice the size of the 4. It could hold earrings or small jewelry. Suggestions please.
Does anyone know if Macy’s beauty box is going to be late this month? I didn’t receive any receipt as I usually get at the end of the month and the shipment confirmation in the first week of the month. Excited to get this box!
I will be cancelling Allure and Birchbox (both purcahsed annally at discount) as soon as my subscription ends, but I think I am going to keep Macy’s. I enjoy life style items and I feel that they do a good job of selecting random item. I wish they will send us newer release of perfumes. Now I am more open to trying different scents, thanks to sub boxes.
I have really like Macys beauty box, but for the past 2 months while I’ve put in an address change, they kept sending to old address where I can’t receive anymore. Spent hours on the phone and then tried to cancel…can’t cancel on the phone and there’s no place on line to let me cancel ..if it goes there again for June I’ll have to stop payment with my credit card for all Macys which stinks… But it’s been impossible to cancel this box..If anyone knows how..please post it…it’s not what I want to do but post office won’t forward from a private mailing address so I’m stuck.. Thanks!
I couldn’t access thru the subscription box page either. So try this…go to your past orders, click on one of your old beauty box orders and there will be a link to manage subscription there. That link actually worked for me
I change addresses quite frequently as I spend summers and holidays at my parent’s house since I’m a teacher. I’ve never had any problems. Here’s what I do:
I google the macys beauty box page and go to that exact page. Just under their main box is a little button “Manage Subscription.” I sign in through that, and sometimes I have to click a couple times and then go back because their site can be stupid. On the sub page it has a place to cancel your subscription, change your address or change the payment.
For all of you who are waiting to get Macy’s box, someone posted elsewhere that past boxes are available for $15 each with any beauty purchase. There were 3 different boxes available when I checked. I think they are January, which had a mini flat iron and hair care samples; Home Spa, I believe from April; and Glam on the Go, which I believe is the May box.
I have one of the beauty boxes saved in my cart along with something I might pull the trigger on. It looks like it is still available but I don’t see the boxes anymore with the other offers. Can’t hurt to look, though!
You don’t – they appear as offers in your shopping basket when you add beauty items.
If they have such an overstock of boxes, though, I don’t understand why they are keeping all these people on the waiting list for months. The whole operation must be really disorganized.
I am always happy with my Macy’s box. I’m thinking of cancelling my Ipsy Glam Bag and just sticking to
this box.
Quick question- I have never used the $5 off coupon that comes with the box. I always end up throwing it away. Can you use it on sale items or beauty kits?
Totally agree!
I was Boxycharm subscriber. I was subscribing all its boxes basic, premium & lux too but then i realized that Macy’s little things were making me more happy than those 3 boxes all together ( i didn’t like almost anything) so it was waste of money for me and canceled all of them and now im only Macy’s beauty’s subscriber and im happy
Yes, as long as the sale doesn’t require a code. So during their VIP sale you have to enter a code, which means you can’t use the beauty box coupon. Deals of the day don’t have a code so you can use the beauty box coupon. I bought a perfume yesterday that was on sale for $25 and got an additional $5 off of it.
You can use it on anything in store, actually, not even necessarily beauty, and you can use it twice – the coupon code on the front for online purchases and the UPS bar code on the back for in-store.
