I received my box today. This box is kind of filled with random items (the key fob is even smaller than i imagined and like, just looks dumb without any design or logo) but i must say i appreciate them getting this shipped quickly and filled with what they promised. (ahem. Looking at you, cause of and OuiPlease)

Of the “this or that” items, i received:

– context eye serum
– lime green tip straw
– redwood scented deodorant

Some odd surprises:

– i got a travel size Erno Laszlo black soap (also got one in the last box)
– it included the essential oil from one or two boxes ago (which never arrived directly from the company and to be honest I had forgotten about entirely)

However, while the quality of the the hero item (sunglasses) is nicer than i thought, i can’t shake the feeling that they have prescription lenses. They make my eyes hurt. Boo.

Anyone else experiencing this? Am i going insane? Are they polarized in a different way than my other glasses are?

Please tell me I’m not crazy.

I was charged for this box & just recieved shipping info even though I had email confirmation of cancellation back in March. I called again to get a refund and they said it will take upto 1 month for the $ to return to my card which seems insane. Has this happened to anyone else?

Got my refund already just a few days later. Hopefully I’m really cancelled this time.

Total miss with this bag. :/

Context Vit C is my favorite eye serum (I’m not sure if I’ve tried the Verso yet) but I’ve never considered sharing one with my husband, lol. I have a couple back up tubes already, too.

It does seem like most of this box is filler. My husband might go for the deodorant, but he has RX sungasses and wouldn’t be into trying out random samples of stuff.

The sunglasses are really doing the heavy lifting here. Why not a full set of straws? Full size shampoo/conditioner? The value just isn’t there this time.

Why would someone spend $150 on Ray-Ban imitation when you can buy the original? Sunglasses is a very personal preference & some of us have to have RX ones. This box is a total miss.

They did an early spoiler of the glasses and my son loves them. He’s 21 and the box is for him. I’m taking the eye cream and the no shine sheets. The rest of the stuff will be great for his gym bag.

Hmmm, the glasses seem nice but it’s hard to imagine how they’d look without seeing them on a model and the rest of the stuff feels really “sponsored” in a bad way, especially the key fob and bags, like swag you’d get in a conference bag. Definitely skipping this one and hoping for a better box this fall.

I wonder if we get to choose the color of sunglasses.

Normally I’m impressed by this box, but this one is a dud…. my hubby and I both wear glasses (no contacts) so the biggest ticket item is a no-go and everything besides the Eye cream is pretty hum drum.

Also I would be very upset if i received a key fob like that in a subscription box. just… why?

Yes, the only thing more laughable than that key fob is its alleged price.
