Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus-size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:

  • Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
  • Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
  • Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.

Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your cart or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call Fabletics customer service to do so.

Fabletics Plus Size February 2021 Review

I will be reviewing the Hike 2-Piece Outfit and the Freya SculptKnit Sports Bra this month!

Ryan Short-Sleeve Tie Up Tee in Misty Lilac, Size 3x, Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95) or buy as a set for $129.90 (VIP Price $54.95)

I usually don't go for pastels or pink shades, but this last year or so that has greatly changed. I am loving this beautiful bubble pink shade. It contrasts nicely against the blue leggings in this set. The material on this is rather lightweight-- fantastic for the gym! I was initially concerned about the tie at the waist, but it adds great definition and a cropped look. This is especially a great top if you opt to purchase the Freya sports bra to be coordinated and covered! This easily could be worn as well with other leggings or even out and about with a denim skirt or shorts and sandals!

High-Waisted SculptKnit Essential Leggings in Blue Nova, Size 3x, Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95) or buy as a set for $129.90 (VIP Price $54.95)

In last month's Fabletics review, I received a pair of SculptKnit leggings in Persimmon and this month I have a blue pair included in my outfit! I have a few pairs of the SculptKnit styles and it never ceases to amaze me that I can get them on my body. When you first receive them, they look so itty bitty. They are like those plastic camp cup keychains you can get that look like a tape measure, but they open up as a cup! It blows my mind every single time! Not only do these leggings fit, but they fit well. They aren't a spandex material, but almost a thicker gauze-like fabric. They are incredibly comfortable to wear and provide the compression that I love! I would wear these to work out in, but also for errands as well.

Freya SculptKnit Sports Bra in Misty Lilac and Blue Nova, Size 3x, Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95)

I loved my outfit alone, but I knew I couldn't pass up on a sports bra that matched it perfectly! This Freya style bra is made of the same fabric as my leggings, so it provides a lot of comfort and holds me in very well! I love the back strap accent too-- isn't it cute! The cherry on top of it all is I got this sports bra during an additional 50% off sale, so I simply couldn't resist scooping this one up! Can you blame me?

Verdict: This month went off without a hitch with the delivery of items and some wonderful selections from Fabletics as well! I wish the pieces I received had been offered as a three-piece rather than a two-piece and add-on bra. Regardless, I am still extremely satisfied with this new gym ensemble! Fabletics has really been serving up so many killer looks-- they update their site with new pieces every Thursday if you were unaware! I have been reviewing Fabletics for almost four years and the selections and quality are continually improving. I am consistently impressed by them! In addition, I love the frequent sales they offer and incentives if you are a VIP. The closest thing to a complaint I have is that they started to offer the 4x options, but I do not see 4x options being consistently made available. Not only do I feel that they should offer 4x in all their items, but they should expand to 5x or 6x. Size doesn't preclude a bodacious babe from wanting some high-quality lounge and activewear! I would love to see Fabletics become even more inclusive like its competitors. Don't get me wrong, I have seen the plus size clothing industry make leaps and bounds over the last few years, but you can't stop in the middle of your momentum. Fabletics, keep going and making these phenomenal strides! That all being said, I don't know about you all, but I am eager to see what I get in my next month's selections!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? I am glad to say that both the Hike 2-Piece Outfit and the Freya SculptKnit Sports Bra are available still and in a variety of different colors too! Sign up here to nab this and other plus-size workout gear from Fabletics.

!

Value Breakdown: The Hike outfit and Freya sports bra retail for $188.95, but after the VIP discount and sale promos I spent $49.94 before shipping and handling! That means I saved a grand total of $139.01 which is roughly a 73% savings! What a fantastic value!

Love Fabletic clothing, and appreciate the plus sizes – but had to cancel due to lack of petites. You can’t really take up full length leggings or sweatshirt sleeves, so this company really needs to add petites if they want to continue to claim to be inclusive.

Oh yes, agreed! Like you can only buy so many bike shorts! That is smart. They should have tall and petite sizes to cover all the bases for sure!
