My box arrived today! It came with nice info cards with pretty pictures for each wine.

I’ve ordered from them a couple of times before. The wine is decent (nothing to set the world on fire), but for the price – 5.00 a bottle for the intro shipment is totally worth it. I’m not sure I would continue with the regular price shipments due to better selections and pricing at my local wine shops.

I was thinking the same thing about my local store has pretty decent wines at decent prices.

Yup, sure enough, can’t order in Kentucky.
Our bourbon lobbyists rule with an iron fist. Oh well.

For what it’s worth, I’ve found Firstleaf to be a very easy service to manage and their customer service is very responsive if you need an issue resolved. And yeah, $30+ tax for a half dozen bottles of wine dropped at your door is pretty hard to beat.

This is a great deal! Thanks, MSA! I signed up and set my shipments to every other month for now.

OK, so you can set shipments to every 2 or 3 months instead of monthly. But the next shipment after your first order is set to one month out. You can go in and manually change that (it’s slightly confusing as it isn’t in the same spot as where you change regular frequency) and tweak the date by up to a month.

So I’ll ideally have a couple months to think this over and decide, depending on how well I Iike the selections they send.

It appears like cancelling will be easy to do online if needed – account details –> membership status –> scroll down, the cancel membership will be an option.

Ahh, $79.98 + tax & $9.95 per month (or shipment) after. A bit pricier than I expected (normal for wine I suppose, though!) Well, I’ll probable set my next shipment as far out as it will let me so I have plenty of time to sample the wines that come. I don’t drink much wine besides moscato, so this will be branching out. I’m not sure I would want more than one or two shipments a year though, as I just wouldn’t get to it fast enough.

That’s my issue. I only like moscato.

Tempted, signing up now.

How much is it per month, though? I’m having a hard time finding what the continued rate would be, or if it’s per bottle. I like that they have a preference quiz and that you can swap out bottles that don’t work.
