I have to say, I bought this once & my box was terrible as well. I didn’t recognize anything from previous boxes & I don’t see how the items could possibly add up to the promised retail value. I would never buy this again.

Adding to the list. Awful. Truly awful. Off brand, damaged junk. Be smarter than me and avoid. I think MSA ought to put some sort of warning on this.

As soon as I saw Bombay & Cedar mystery box sale I knew the comments would be negative. I really don’t like that they are including items NOT previously featured in their monthly or quarterly boxes. That is just an extremely shady business practice and should be stopped.

I could have had bad luck, but my box was really a disappointment. I donated it so hopefully others may find use for the items. It was filled with lower priced and unappealing items for me personally.
As much as I love a mystery, this one proved to be a sucker.

I’m with you. I bought a mystery box one time and was so disappointed that I emailed them. I was certain I bought the Lifestyle box, but according to B & C that wasn’t the case 😏. I also thought the value sucked. The CS rep that replied “broke down”. the “values” of the items which we all know is always absurdly over inflated. The only decent items I got were shampoo & conditioner which were really awesome. Everything else was cheap junk and a stinky candle, and a planner.

Ahhh, hard nope for me. Last two were major duds after 2.5 months n emails. Dollar store stuff, not making this up. Maybe they’ve up their game so good luck. Check previous reviews.

Agree with the other replies. Don’t do it. You’ll be better served using the money on a subscription to a quality lifestyle box such as Journeebox .

Yes, I agree 💯! I saw people posting pics of their last mystery boxes and they didn’t include their previous box items. Actually they include one, 2 at most previous sub box items but the rest of the stuff was dollar store fillers. I was embarrassed for these items. Notice how the posting says “plus other goodies”. Just don’t do it!
