March 2021 Pet Treater Dog Pack Review

This month is all about good eats, plus a few coupons! This shipment from Pet Treater included five items: a toy, a gourmet cookie, chew treats, and a bandana.

Nautical Bandana from Pet Treater

I have an anchor tattoo, so this style always has a special place in my heart. I also really love nautical style for clothing and decor, which means we all thought this pattern was really cool! Rufus looks so handsome in this bold blue, and it is perfect for the start of spring. The fabric is super soft and breathable, but I was bummed to see a ton of loose threads this month. Nothing major but I did need to clean the edges up a bit before putting it on Rufus.

Gourmet Canine Cookie by Woofables for Pet Treater

These cookies are the best and so good for Rufus as well. My son, Fox, really wanted to eat the cookie, and didn't seem to understand why he couldn't. It just looks that delicious! This little gourmet cookie is a yogurt-iced honey and oat cookie that is made with whole wheat flour, oats, canola oil, honey, and sugar. It continues with our fishing theme which my son thought was so cool. This got gobbled down very quickly, and my son even timed Rufus!

River Fish Dog Toy by American Kennel Club

At a distance, my daughter thought this was a real fish. That did not go over well, haha! Rufus isn't a huge fan of toys but he always seems to like real-life-looking animals. So he is really into this one! My kids normally like the toys as well, but they were not into this little guy. That is ok though, Rufus can enjoy playing fetch with it on his own. It also makes a fun squeak and gentle crinkle sound.

Nandi Nguni Beef Tendon Chews, 3.5 oz - Retail Value $11.99

I didn't think Rufus was going to like these chews but he absolutely loved them! I really enjoy being able to give him treats that are new for him or that I might not have given him on my own only to realize that he really enjoys it. These treats are made with beef tendons, no artificial ingredients, and promote dental health. These are going to be a great hearty treat for Rufus to enjoy after a long walk or playing outside trying to keep up with the kids and bees.

Verdict: This month's Pet Treater box was a huge hit for Rufus! As always, the gourmet cookie was his favorite treat, and my son even wanted to give the cookie a try. I was really surprised that Rufus liked the chews this month, but I am glad to have a healthy and hearty treat that I can give to him after a long activity. Bonus points that it helps with dental health. I was a little bummed to see that the bandana quality wasn't what it has been, but I was really feeling the nautical pattern. I couldn’t find the exact items online, so simply by dividing them up, each item would cost about $3.75. At $15.00 per month with free shipping, this box is an incredible value for your doggie. Rufus always loves when this box arrives, he will hardly let me take photos of each item, he is basically in my lap waiting for treats. It is always great to see him get excited and get some extra love and attention!

To Wrap Up:

After that, your pet will receive the same monthly shipment as other subscribers. Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you’re not guaranteed the same items pictured here. The tendon chews were a big miss for us – my dog is over 10 yrs old and she can’t handle such hard treats anyone.
