Nancy

I’m wondering how they extracted the venom from the Bees to go into this product.

Kat

It’s actually pretty cool: bee keepers get bees to sting a glass plate that collects the venom, and then the venom is scraped off of the plate. The process doesn’t hurt the bees.

February

Hi Cissy, bees die if they lose their stingers. But the method Kay explained does not make bees to lose stingers so they sting then fly away 🙂
I also hate anything that could harm the bees so I researched on venom harvesting AND asked my beekeeper friends. All assured me that bees don’t lose their stingers in this method.

Cissy

Don’t bees die after they sting? I don’t want to use a product that kills bees, we need our pollinators!

Nancy

Ok. I was concerned they hurt the bees to get it. I was about to send a strongly worded email to Rodial. LOL

Snow

Definitely better than the miscellar water and eye patches in the glossybox box edition.
