I got this in another sub box and it’s a really lovely sweet perfume. The honey scent is quite strong. It does linger, so definitely not a scent if you’re sensitive to smells.

I was considering cancelling this box because I honestly don’t use half the stuff. I have a years worth of boxes sitting around half full. Don’t get me wrong, I love this box, it’s my favorite box to receive but I just don’t use the products like I should and I don’t have enough women in my life to gift it all to. But I always love the perfumes. I’ve been wanting to try this perfume too so looks like I’ll be sticking around for at least this box, lol.

It’s a repeat from a past box so I already have some, but it is an interesting scent which actually would be great for summer.
It makes me think of a sandlewood chest that’s part of a trading caravan for years, that’s held jars of rich honey, packets of sugar, and bundles of peppery violets over the years, and the wood has soaked up the scents.
The perfume does have a rich honey sweetness, but it is well-balanced by the earthy sandlewood and the slight spice of the violet.

I do some creative writing, but I also really like perfumes. 🙂 I love it when scents evoke a mood, image, or story, especially if the perfume transforms as you wear it.

Last year I did an order from the ME site (which I really didn’t need because I sub this box but I can’t help it, I’m in love with just about everything) and saw that they added this scent in the Parfum Creme tin so I got it (I have most of the Parfum Cremes they make). So now I’m psyched to have this spray to layer! Yay.
