If I knew I would get the CC brush for sure I would sign up ASAP. I keep wanting to pull the trigger but then when I go to do it tht happens to be a box I’m not particularly excited about…I’m not saying the value isn’t there I just don’t have the extra $$ (even $12) to blow if I only receive one item I will use. If I knew for sure what I would get…At least 2 of the items tht would be more tempting. But I’ve heard new ppl get filler items such as old inventory…being a “new” subscriber and all and having not got any of the items before (ever)…P.S. The CC concealer and Goldfadden face wash looks nice too. Damnit…I need to just go ahead w/it!! Lol!

Ipsy bag reveals and add ons are up, surprised there is no post on it.

Though I didn’t have trouble picking add ons this month – just went for the lip liner duo (two full size liners) in the $3 section as well as the sleeping lip mask.

Does anyone know of the ‘Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip’ will be available as an add-on for May? Or is it just available in the GBPlus? I REALLY want it, but not enough to spend $25 and take the chance of not ending up with it anyway, lol.

It most likely will not be there, so if you don’t want to chance it, just cancel the subscription and buy the Juicy Lip. Full size is $19 and Ulta has a mini version in 3 shades for $10 if you want to try them first. They are phenomenal! I have them in every color, both sizes, and picked up an extra Rose in add-ons this month. 🙂

I think the bag is cute!

I picked the Complex Culture eyeshadow brush as my choice. I didn’t see any of these items, minus the SPF.

I was told by ipsy that choice day for the glam bag plus subscribers isn’t until the 2nd of each month.. and this was true these last 2 months for me, they take my payment on the 1st and on the 2nd I get to chose my three products and buy add ons!

Today there is a mystery bag offer with a really cute bag with palm leaves and a palm leaf zipper pull. I feel like I’ve seen the bag before but can’t place it. It’s a standard 5 mystery items for $14 one.

I am livid! I subscribed to Glam Plus and I can’t choose or add add ons! I subscribed for one item. They don’t have a phone number. I’m mad as an old wet hen! Grrr

You cant choose them first month, and likely evening you have been subbed for a while you still might not get the exact item you want….BUT you can always watch add on and flash sales and get it that way….or you could look on other sites or fb groups and buy/trade for that one item vs subscribing and HOPING to get it.

I’m livid too, Susan. I just clicked an email to open it and it automatically subscribed me to the glam bag, which I wouldn’t have known except they sent me a confirmation email. Tried to reply; it was a “no-reply”. Went to account; no option for direct contact and the bot replies all said to click a “manage subscription” option that didn’t appear for the Plus sub. Spent two hours trying to cancel with no luck. Cancelled my reg sub because it was the only one I could.

Yeah, the first month you dont get to pick your item…BUT when they have add ons and flash sales, check it out and you might be able to find whatever you were looking for there and be able to buy it

Hello Susan,

If you use the App and at the bottom right select “MORE” and then at the top select “ACCOUNT” and then scroll to the bottom and select “CONTACT IPSY CARES” then you can enter a question. The first question turns in an automated answer. Then you have to select an answer. After that you may see a “need more help” or “talk to person” (can’t remember exact wording here) but I do know you can type your issue and wait for response via email or direct instant messaging.

I added another email address/account but did it around the 5th of a month. That month I wanted the Malle Beauty blush. I had to wait until the following month. Then I tried again creating another account around the 14-17th in the same month. I received a “welcome bag” with favorite items from Ipsy for that month (it was strange my first time trying I didn’t get the welcome bag). I was then able to choose the following month.

I ended up going on the website “Mercari” and found the blush I wanted for sale and brand new from an Ipster that was not interested in keeping that item. You have to keep checking back on Mercari and see what they have as people receive their Glam Plus bags.

Try them on facebook. I contacted them because they made it look like if I upgraded I could make a choice yesterday. Very misleading. I contacted them and they responded quickly but told me that I was on a wait list and would start next month. I like you signed up for one of the items.

I wouldn’t mind the brow gel, concealer, or possibly the blush. My bag this month was sort of meh, but I like the bag design for May.

Not super impressed, but my last couple bags have been duds so I’m bitter, haha.

Would like the Goldfaden cleanser (LOVE this brand) and the complex culture brush, but I bet they will be in add ons.

I got fed up and stopped the bags about six months ago. All I do now is the pop up sale, flash sale and second chance add-ns. I get what I want and want what I get. They’d always dangle this stuff in front of me that never ended up in my bags – which were usually filled with rarelies.

Hey! Those things are the only reason I still get the bags. How do you stop the bags but still participate in the other sales? Do you just pause every month or did your actual cancel? Thank you!

I really want that HipDot blush! I have the full size of the Bliss Makeup Melt and its a decent makeup remover but definitely not the best. You always have to double cleanse if you use that. I always double cleanse no matter what but I prefer my makeup removing step actually removes all my makeup. Thats why I prefer makeup removing balms

I’ll be getting this bag because I am redeeming some points. These spoilers look nice and I’d be happy with any of them (except maybe the Origins mask, only because I have like four of them, it’s a great mask! I love Origins.). I really would love that blush!

This bag is so cute! I’m so glad I canceled my GBX subscription I would have been so sad to miss out on this GB! I was not drawn to any of the products released for the May GBX even though I loved my February GBX.
I really want to recieve the ABH brow gel, Goldfaden cleanser and that Complex Culture brush! Please oh please let this bag be good for me! My April GB was a total bust this morning, even the add-ons were unthrilling. Blah. Can’t wait for May!
