Fabletics VIP Plus Size Review + Coupon – Matching Set
Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus-size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your cart or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call Fabletics customer service to do so.

Fabletics Plus Size December 2020 Review
I had two separate orders this month that I reviewed, so I will show each of the coupons and samples I received in each.
Now, onto the review, we go!
Starting with our first order including the Mile Outfit Set and Chunky Knit Beanie With Pom.
Bea Short Sleeve Hoodie — Retail Value $74.95
Though the weather is still chilly and cold, I am looking into the future for Summer nights when I can wear this lightweight hoodie when I go for late-night walks. Our summers are rather humid, but a lightweight top like this is perfect! This top would be perfect at the gym as well, especially if you don’t want to work out just in a sports bra. It is a nice alternative to a t-shirt or tank for sure! I am fond of the adjustable chord at the waist too– it allows you to make the bottom as loose or as fitted as you prefer! I also love the heather grey color of this top as a neutral too because it will pair fantastically with a multitude of shorts and leggings. It looks great against the neon yellow of the leggings below in the Mile set. Sadly, this outfit is no longer available on the Fabletics site, but you can get the pieces separately.
Trinity High-Waisted Pocket Capri — Retail Value $64.95
If you read my reviews frequently, you probably realize I rarely shy away from bright colors and patterns. This set is no exception– gimme that day-glow yellow! These leggings have loads of stretch and are comfortable to wear! I love the high waist because I feel completely held and protected in the front and behind. The back of pants always is the bigger struggle– I have a lot of dupa that needs to be covered! These leggings do the job well too. I might not have highlighted it terribly well, but the pocket on these is featured on the back. I personally prefer the leggings that offer pockets on the sides of the leg, especially since this pocket is mesh and rather see-through.
Chunky Knit Pom Beanie— Retail Value $19.95
I can’t tell you the last time I wore a hat, but I decided I needed one since it has been so much colder this year! I love the cozy knit of this beanie and the faux fur pom pom adds a bit of personality as well. Plus if you have a pumpkin head such as moi, then this will certainly fit your large head as well! This could be worn for wintertime strolls or just fashionably with a peacoat in the cooler weather for a classic look!
Now, onto order #2!
Joelle SculptKnit Hoodie II (Refresh Outfit) Size 3x — Retail Value $89.95
Fabletics had a 50% off sale a few days later and I had to scoop up this set– it matches the leggings in my other outfit perfectly! I was also eager to get a matching hoodie and sweatpants ensemble. I figure this is perfect for walking around in chilly weather, but it is ideal loungewear as well. The fabric is incredibly soft and easy to wear, but I also appreciate the length of this hoodie. It isn’t too cropped or too long; it hits ideally right at my waist! I usually prefer zip-up hoodies, but I am truly feeling this pullover style!
See what I mean with how well the hoodie goes with the leggings? I am all for a good mix and match! Sadly, the hoodie is no longer available on the site for purchase.
Joelle Jacquard Jogger (Refresh Outfit) Size 3x — Retail Value $74.95
Funny to think these are the first joggers/sweats I have purchased from Fabletics. They were just too fantastic to pass up! These joggers are incredibly comfortable. I love the thick waistline and tapered ankles. The fit also is rather flattering as well. The material isn’t terribly thick, but not too thin either– absolutely perfect for cooler spring weather! I have even layered them with the leggings in the Mile Outfit for extra warmth when I have gone out for chillier weather jaunts!
Verdict: This month’s Fabletics selections were varied, but all paired so well with one another! I simply couldn’t resist such good deals, especially when the outfits coordinate so well together! The quality of each outfit is not a surprise whatsoever— that is what I have come to expect from Fabletics over all the years I have reviewed their products. All the items are well made and wonderfully constructed. I am always the first to tell my friends to sign up with Fabletics over getting lounge and activewear pieces from other companies! You just can’t beat the quality for the price, especially due to all the special sales and deals they provide in their VIP Program!
Both sets offer up to at least a 3x, but I would love to see every single piece on their site go up to a 4x if not higher. I love that over the years Fabletics has extended their size range, but I truly hope they don’t stop at a 4x– the 5x and 6x sized babes want in on the high-quality activewear as well!
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All items are available, excluding the hoodie and the beanie is only available in grey. Sign up here to nab this and other plus-size workout gear from Fabletics.

Value Breakdown: The Mile and Refresh outfits along with the knit beanie retail for $309.75, but after the VIP discount and sale promos, I spent a total of $97.51! That means I saved a grand total of $212.24 which is roughly a 69% savings! What a phenomenal value– maybe one of the best savings I have had in the four years I have reviewed Fabletics!
