I do not know where talk about this.
I enjoy the sales like two items at great low cost. I bought 2QmS lipline corrector serums.
Obviously by 2 means your not going to use both immediately…and wouldn’t bother with one while using the other. I ran out of first bottle and opened or tried the 2nd…the item wouldn’t pump anything out. I removed item from outer casing AND WAS SHOCKED TO SEE A NEVER BEEN FILLED BOTTLE…CLEAN AS A WHISTLE. It didn’t appear tampered …JUST EMPTY…wow

Yes the price for some items were higher than last month. For example, I purchased the rose quartz hair mask for $6, this time around its $9. I was hoping to repurchase more this month but seeing the price hike irritated me, so I didn’t.

I’m usually all over the mystery boxes during add ons, but the choices this time were lackluster. The ones that caught my eye were the ones with skin tone variations, and those are always too much of a gamble. I did pick up a couple of headbands and a hair wrap, and with the $10 resub coupon, I was able to get all 3 for $2! That’s an awesome deal, since the hair wrap alone is $12 on Amazon.

Not impressed with the pricing. I noticed several items selling for more than they were in the past.

I only got one thing — the $4 Isaac Mizrahi manicure kit. 😂 If it arrives in time, it will be part of Grandma’s Mothers Day present. If not, it will be part of her birthday present.

One thing that I got in a past sale that I’d recommend is the Touch in Sol Metallist single shadow in Holo Mulberry — a gorgeous plum with a teal glitter flip (with no plastic glitters!).

I also noticed the prices had gone up on many items – for example the Battington Beauty brush set was previously 4.00 is now 9.00. The Dr. Brandt lumnizer was also 4.00 and is now 9.00. The items featured as box choices are normally 12.00 and now they are 18.00. (you are better off finically to buy the whole box versus cherry pick add ons). Now that Ipsy owns Boxy they are making changes and trying to increase their margins. They must think people are not smart enough to know what’s
going on.

Indeed. We’re savvier than they know. I’m getting out of all of them.

I thought the prices seemed higher as well. It seems like before, the stuff was cheaper. They still have cheaper stuff, but it is really off brands.

The Touch in Sol shadow in Holo Mulberry is gorgeous, but I had a horrible reaction to it. No idea why but I’m terrified of it now lol.

Some shiny purples use metals that people can be allergic to (I know that the Milk Holographic stick caused problems for some people, too). A quick look at the Holo Mulberry ingredients makes me think tin oxide might be the culprit for you. Hope this helps!
