I never received my March bag. The frustrating part is contacting someone. I spoke with so many different people via email but they only have an outgoing email address. They assured me many times that my bag was just late shipping out and “ not to worry because even if I don’t receive it they will replace it.”
Well.. I waited until the first week of April and sent another email saying no bag still. Then I was told there was a mix up with their warehouse or something and unfortunately they could NOT replace my bag. First off, email me and let me know, why should I have to run around finding that information out?? Don’t promise something you can’t keep.
So disappointed. The customer service is awful.

I have not received my bag either. I got an email saying it shipped last week, but it hasn’t moved!!

Anyone else not have their bag shipped yet? Second month in a row really late, and customer service was kind enough to tell me tonight my bag should ship mid month. . . .

Melissa

Mine never shipped either after getting an email saying it was coming late and today customer service said they were unable to send it.

After telling me on March 23rd that they shipped my bag on March 19th, now when I asked again they told me my bag isn’t shipping at all.

Heavy make up bag this month but the colors worked for me.
I’m getting:

– Belle En Argent bronzed eye shadow in “Shutter Speed”, like it better than the golden duo.

– Benefit “They’re real” mascara , don’t need but like the brand so I will use it eventually.

– Milk Makeup lip and cheek in “week”, my choice. I love Milk Makeup and this is a color I don’t have yet.

– Lay down looks brush, racy name for a make up brush.

– Sleek E deep conditioning hair mask

Add ons:
– 19 / 99 pencil in Lustra
– Saint Lux highlighter in rose quartz
– Eleman beauty shadow duo in Aerial & Luna

Redeemed points for:
– Ecofabulous blush in “Camellia”
And
– Naked cosmetics shadow in “Desert Sunset”.

A full bag this month, will probably skip next month if the spoilers are any indication of the choices.

A nice, make-up heavy bag this month:

• 19/99 Precision Colour Pencil in Lustro;
• Cocokind Resurfacing Sleep Mask — my pick;
• Ecofabulous Blush in Camellia — I had a feeling it’s coming my way once I saw it in the points shop. Nice packaging, the blush is probably too shimmery;
• Eleman Eyeshadow Duo in Aerial & Luna — I don’t wear eyeshadows as a part of my basic makeup, but occasionally I play with it. These 2 colors look pretty, glad ipsy picked this duo for me instead of the lighter one;
• Karmela Silk Matte Lipstick in High-Vibe — according to the reviews it’s more like bright orange red, which won’t work for me :/

Add-ons:
• Hanalei Kukui Balm in Tropical Citrus — took one with me to my Mexico trip a little over a year ago, smells and flavors take me places, and that it the only reason I’m getting this, crazy I know;
• Patrick Ta Brow Shaping Wax in Clear + Brush;
• Free gift — P/Y/T Eyeshadow Quad.

The item envy this time is Saint Luxe Blush in Cranberry Bliss, oh the shade looks so pretty, much more fun than the one I got. Maybe also the Pistache body butter, it’s an amazing product.

Was trying to figure out what’s the deal with Cocokind and Onekind. It doesn’t look like they are sister brands, but the logo placement on their packaging looks so similar. And both of the logos are somewhat alike. Who’s copying who?:)

This is one month that I am not too thrilled with the products in my bag, but what I don’t use or want, I’ll give it to a friend that will get more use out of those products than I will. I’m getting:

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Werk: I have never tried Milk Makeup products so I’ll try it. I don’t wear blush but I’ll use it as a lip product instead.

MOTD Cosmetics Lay Down Looks Brush: Another brush, but that’s ok, I’ll get use out of it.

Ouai Leave-in Conditioner: My choice pick. I’ve had this before, but I love it.

Purlisse Beauty Matcha Green Tea Moisturizing Primer: I love Purlisse products so I’m ok with this.

Wander Beauty Highlighter in After Hours: I have enough highlighters to last me at least 10 years. This will be passed on.

Nails Inc Thirsty Feet Mask: (Add-on) – My feet are so dry and calloused, so hopefully this will help.

Eleman Beauty Eyeshadow in Lilac Skies and Breeze: (Add-on) – Ipsy never sends me any colors like these so I’m taking advantage of them in add-ons.

Eleman Beauty Eyeshadow in Aerial and Luna: (Add-on) – See comment above.

Sleek’e Hair Mask: (Add-on) – I love hair masks.

We are bag twins. I also picked the Ouai conditioner. I have sooo many highlighters. I never use them. I’m willing to try the other stuff though.

Leslie

I’m getting the exact same and my choice was OUAI leave in conditioner. I’m not thrilled about this month. I dont use lip stuff or blush and I’m overflowing with highlighters and primers and I’m accustomed to my brushes. Also the bag is hideous. I left ipsy for about 2 years and came back last summer. They were nailing it for me until this bag. Last month I updated my profile since it was the same since the old version. I probably should have left it blank because I got everything I marked as rarely and nothing I marked as often.

You can review add-ons, so maybe rating those shades of eye shadow highly will help you get more of them in bags in the future!

Like the variety of my bag:
Milk Makeup- lip and cheek color
Belle en Argent Polish- like a grape
BENEFIT-They’re Real Magnet Mascara
Hanalei- aloe face cleanser
Purpose- matcha priming moisturizer

Add-on: Makeup-Removing cloths
Redeemed points for : Thrive lip liner

I cancelled. The bags have gotten so ugly that they went past the point where I can use them to store things. I do t even want to see them. It is such a waste throwing them away. I really wish they had an option to subscribe without the ugly bags.

Reply ButtonReply

Nancy

Instead of throwing the bags away, keep them and fill them with products and gift the bags to homeless shelters or women’s shelters. It’s a shame that not more people think of doing things like this for others in need. That is what I do with the bags I do not want.

What a lovely thought, and recipients will be thrilled and appreciative. Whenever we visit hotels and receive sample sizes, I do the same, and it is so easy to do! All over wipes, hand sanitizers, dry shampoos, pain and heartburn relief, cortisone, zinc oxide, antibiotic ointment/creams, tampons/pads, first aid products like bandaids, gauzes, disinfectants, brushes, combs, gels and mousses, and antiperspirant/deodorants toothpaste/brushes/mouthwashes, and mace for protection are also great. It really makes a huge difference in the lives of homeless women, and you can also make bags focused toward teens
And smaller children. Items like socks and underwear are very appreciated as well. Thanks for pointing out a great use for unused beauty products!

Not everyone can find places that will take skin care and cosmetics.

I was fine with my bag until I saw all the products. Sometimes I think they did great considering what’s offered. Other times, like this month, I wish I would’ve got a totally different bag.

I got:

—KVD Setting Powder (my pick)
—BENEFIT Magnet Mascara (fine, but I wish people who really wanted it could’ve gotten it. I have so many mascaras)
—MODA Blush Brush (fine, but probably won’t use)
—PISTACHE SKINCARE Pistachio Body Butter (this sounds yummy!)
—HANALEI Lip Balm in Island Mint (Bleh. Don’t like mint lip products and find this boring. I have all lip products except balm marked highly and often)

ADD-ONS:
—Kensie Perfume sampler (YAY! What a deal!)

Pretty boring, considering all the pretty nail polishes, blushes and lip products. I just prefer makeup and color over lotions and lip balms. BUT I did score the Kensie perfume add on, which wasn’t available for my Plus add ons, so that made up for a disappointing bag.

Christina S Keiser

This is my same bag, and I choose the mascara. I totally agree that these were the best items for me with the products offered. The Pistache lotion is amazing!

Seagal20

I wish I would’ve gotten some of those items! I would have loved that blush brush for my daughter, it’s fun in a brightly colored way and she’s just getting into makeup. And I love balms, after wearing masks all day I just really need them. Not the most exciting, but useful for me. Glosses and other lip products, as much as I used to love them, are just not useful to me right now.
The perfume sampler looks great, I hope you enjoy!

Lori

Thank you, same to you! 🙂

Marion

“Sometimes I think they did great considering what’s offered.”

Lol, same. There’s definitely been a few times where I didn’t like my bag contents, but I could still clearly see why Ipsy’s algorithm chose it for me!

I’m much happier this month than I’ve been for the past few months! I like the types of product included a lot, even though I question some of the brands.

– Milk Makeup stick in Werk
– Eleman shadow in the lighter duo
– Ouai leave-in
– Onekind Moisturizer
– Sophia + Mabelle highlighter in the lighter shade

From a quick Google search: Eman Cosmetics is the sister company to Trissola, a hair brand that has also been in Ipsy before. Claims to be made in the USA, so I’ll be sure to check the packaging for that when it arrives. They have a weird disclaimer on their site that says they’re not responsible for misinformation on their site or packaging changes of their products. (Maybe it’s not weird, but information that is usually buried in the fine print of a site’s Terms of Use? The main reason I think it’s weird is because I don’t recall seeing anything like this on a cosmetics website before.) I think I’ll wait to try this for a few weeks to see if anyone else has any adverse reactions. 😂😂😂 I do like the shades.

Sophia + Mabelle is one of those brands that I can’t find any info on. No founder, no CEO, no physical address, no phone number. I personally find this very sketchy. I do like the idea of this jelly highlighter product, & I’d only wear it on my cheekbones, so I might give it a shot.

My bag this month is okay. Nothing too exciting. I’m getting:

BENEFIT They’re Real Magnet Mascara – Choice item.

LOTTIE LONDON Liquid Lipstick in So Good – Beautiful shade! I’ve heard good things about this lippie from folks who’ve gotten it in previous bags.

PURLISSE Matcha Green Tea Priming Moisturizer – I have a full size of this in my stash already, so this is a little boring to me.

SOPHIA + MABELLE Skin Perfecting Primer – Not a huge fan of dimethicone primers. Also side-eyeing 10ml (.35 oz) being considered “full size.”

WE ARE FLUIDE Brow Gel in Clear – Been wanting to try this!

Add-ons: Ciate lip oil in Lychee, Kosas tinted oil in 01.

All in all, it’s all stuff I will use. I’m a little disappointed because three of my items have been in bags previously, some of them for over a year now. There were some new items available this month I would have been happy to receive. Also puzzled as to why I received two primers.

I am super happy with my bag this month! These are all products I will use and I feel like they have really been using our profiles and reviews lately. Also I am Canadian and do not have access to the Glam Bag X so I was super excited to see the Patrick Ta blushes in Add-Ons. I wish I could afford more than one. 🙁

COCOKIND

LOTTIE LONDON
Ombré Blush in Serene (My Choice)

Ah, mine is the same except I got the Onekind moisturizer instead of your Color Club polish.

I *wish* I could have gotten your bag; I’m slightly obsessed with ColorClub. Nothing sticks to my nails (legit, expertly applied gel starts coming off in a week) and Color Club is the one traditional polish that holds up!

Was really hoping to see them in Add-Ons. 😥

Reply ButtonReply

Randie

I could have sworn the Color Club nail polish was available as an add on.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

It was shown in the add on spoilers. I was going to order it, but it wasn’t available to me. Oh well. One of my last bags got lost in the mail and I never got my microneedle roller, so I ordered it again. Hopefully I get it this time.

Christine

Bag twins! First time I’ve ever been bag twins with MSA before.

I’m pretty happy with my products this month, but that bag is hideous!

I picked up the makeup removing cloths in add ons. Anyone tried these before?

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I saw the color club nail polish in the add on spoilers & was excited, sadly it wasn’t offered to me. I was excited though because I was able to add on the ORA Micro needle roller that I had added onto a previous bag that got lost in the mail.

I’m actually pretty happy with my GB this month.

I chose the Ouai Leave in Conditioner because my crazy thick, curly, dry, damaged hair can always use more leave in conditioner.

Ipsys Choices for me:

•Eleman Beauty Eyeshadow Duo in Lilac Skies and Breeze- i have an absolutely ridiculous number of eyeshadow palettes (its a collecting/hoarding issue i have) but im still excited about this little duo. Ive never heard of the brand so I hope the quality is there but the shades are right up my alley.

•MOTD Lay Down The Looks Brush- I will take all the brushes I can get!

•Shaina B Miami Blush in Bellini- ive gotten a blush from this brand in the shade Brickell from Ipsy before and really love it so im excited to try a different shade. Blush is another thing I collect/hoard so im always happy to get more

•Sophia + Mabelle Wet Glow in Frost Bite- this looks really interesting. I love highlighter and this jelly consistency one could be really amazing. This is another brand ive never heard of so I hope the quality is there but im super excited to try it out.

My Add Ons-

•EcoFabulous Cosmetics Sustainably Gorgeous Blush in Camellia- my Blush collect/hoard issue struck here lol. I am obsessed with the reusable tin this Blush comes in and that fact that the blush insert is recyclable. The peachy-pink shade is gorgeous and im really excited to try this. I haven’t heard of this brand either but even if the quality isn’t there I still get a cute tin out of it!

•CocoKind Resurfacing Sleep Mask- I love sleep masks and I love retinol or in this case bakuchiol. Im really excited to try this out

•Sleek’e Silk’e Repair Therapy Deep Conditioning Mask- again my very very thick, curly, dry damaged hair can use all the help it can get. I also felt like 1.5oz was a great deal for $3

I skipped this month, but that bag combo looks pretty cool. Great colors for upcoming spring, too!
