greenUP The Kitchen Box Review

Each box arrives with a product list complete with a brief description of the items you'll find inside.

Hav & Jord Vegan Wax Food Wraps, set of 3 - Retail Value $27.95

Aside from being wildly adorable, Hav & Jord's vegan food wraps are super handy! I admit I desperately needed these in my life/kitchen. Baby doesn't finish his dinner on the first, second, or third try (sigh), so I usually either slap another plate or bowl on top of his plate, or I get out a Pyrex or Stasher bag to store his leftovers in the fridge. Not anymore! Wrapping something in a vegan wrap is eco-friendly and definitely takes up less space in the fridge. This set features three different sizes, all with a matching pattern. They're easy to clean using cool water and can be reused for up to a year.

No Tox Life Dish Block - Retail Value $14.99

I'm so impressed with how this bar cleans. This soap cuts through grease and made scrubbing a breeze. It is vegan and fragrance-free, and of course, no plastic! Like all bar soaps, I will be sure to keep this block away from any excess water to preserve it. A little bit goes a long way, so I think this should last for quite some time.

Yasminida Coconut Kitchen Scrub Brush - Retail Value $12.95

The bristles of this brush are made from coconut fibers and do an excellent job of scrubbing. Neither firm nor too rigid, this flexible brush head manages to get every nook and cranny clean without being abrasive. The handle is made from smooth coconut wood, and the whole brush is compostable. I also noticed that this brush, after several uses, never picked up any odors from being wet like a normal sponge might. It's well-made, and it looks great by the sink.

The Earthling Co. Natural Sponge Loofah, set of 5 - Retail Value $18.00

I already use loofahs for 99% of my housework, so I am ecstatic to get a fresh box! This all-purpose sponge is fantastic for scrubbing your bathroom, kitchen, and even your body. Natural loofah is made of a type of cucumber from the gourd family; its interior is dry and stringy which gives it that mild grit that I know and love. These sponges last so much longer than their plastic counterparts, too.

Hav & Jord Silicone Reusable Stretch Lids, set of 6 - Retail Value $20.95

I have had stretchy silicone lids in and out of random online shopping carts more times than I care to admit. I don't know why I never followed through, but man, am I glad to have this set now. What a game-changer! They are easy to stretch and create a seal that is leak-resistant. This set of six will easily accommodate any size container. They are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe, too! greenUP always sends items that are high quality, but they went above and beyond this time around!

Verdict: The Kitchen Box from greenUP is another gem! greenUP has helped me think outside the box when I shop for everyday items. My favorite item this shipment is definitely the silicone stretchable lids. I can't tell you how many times I have added similar items to my cart from several vendors and never hit the order button. And they sent out six different sizes! The kitchen is definitely the source of most household waste, so receiving items that are reusable and sustainable will help cut down on our plastic usage (and budget!). The scrubber and loofah sponges are such an awesome alternative to disposable dish sponges, and they are much more efficient. I just scrubbed my mac & cheese pot, and I barely had to put in any elbow grease. I am always impressed by greenUP, so it is no surprise that this month's shipment was another hit. For $42.95 I received a retail value of $94.84 – over double the cost!

i got a green box last year that I really enjoyed and was also a ‘kitchen box’. I wish it was a subscription i could afford to keep. That being said, I will say after reading this review I am disappointed with the similar items sent. As I said I got a kitchen box last year that also included the reusable silicone stretch lids (my favorite item), a kitchen scrubber brush (though this one is different) and wax food wraps. while they are slightly different in design they are essentially the same products and if I had kept this box going for a year I would have been disappointed to get several similar items.
