We have the full spoilers for the new Beauty Heroes box.

Each March 2021 box will include:

  • RANAVAT Imperial Glow Facial Polish
  • RANAVAT Mighty Majesty Fortifying Hair Serum
  • RANAVAT Sacred Rose Hand Cream

This month’s Discovery gives new meaning to the concept of Royal Treatment, featuring the modern Ayurvedic brand, RANAVAT. Steeped in ancient tradition and blooming with healing botanicals, each product in RANAVAT’s range becomes a ritual in and of itself.

We celebrate the start of spring with a trilogy of luxurious treatments for skin, hair and hands. This month’s Hero product, Imperial Glow Facial Polish, is an elevated balm-to-milk exfoliant formulated with fine rice powder and nourishing almond oil that purifies, refines and moisturizes at once.

For strands worth of a crown, Mighty Majesty Fortifying Hair Serum, our sidekick, is an intoxicating hair serum that leaves locks silky, smooth and smelling of delicate jasmine. Finally, Sacred Rose Hand Cream provides instant relief to over-scrubbed, hyper-sanitized hands. When used together, we think this ritual is fit for royalty.

MARCH’S BEAUTY DISCOVERY HAS A VALUE OF $144.

So far I really love the hair oil – makes my fine hair so healthy looking and shiny! I also really like the facial polish — I’ll probably use once a week max, but the ingredients in the cream part feel really special. The hand cream is also nice, but definitely a sidekick.

A Beauty Heroes subscription was my birthday gift to myself. December and February’s BH were both misses for me as December’s pilled badly and I detest the scent of Febuary. This month looks great and, with three products, there is a greater chance of finding one I love.

My shipment arrived today! I really like getting my package on the 1st of the month.

I’m happy with the contents. I need a face scrub and I can always use hand cream. The hair serum will be used in the Summer after pool & beach weather.

I’ve been very happy with this sub since I decided to jump on board in November.

This brand is starting to remind me of ayuna – I just don’t get the hype. The outer packaging is super wasteful, although beautiful, so big that BH needed a bigger box though the products when unboxed are so small it could have been a tiny box. The packaging seems good for gifting, though I think after the beautiful outer packaging the person would be bummed by the much smaller tube inside. The inner packaging (of other items) is clear glass & pots, not ideal for keeping ingredients stable and free from germs. I’m hoping I grow to love these, I know I sound like a grinch! Out of the 3 products in her last BH box, only 1 was a win – the mist. Maybe the serum would have been better with the wand? I was hoping that was what was in the box today.

I still wish I got the body cream and Gua sha from last month. I keep checking the resell sites and not finding ridiculous prices and no gua sha. Sigh

Kathryn

I just opened mine or I would have gladly sold it to you. It’s nice but I’m not into body products. Can you tell me where to find resell sites? I would have sold it if I had known. 🙃

Hi Kathryn! You can exchange easily products with fellow MSA readers on our Swap site here: https://swap.mysubscriptionaddiction.com

Hope this helps!

Hi Stephanie, I have the gua sha stone from last month’s box. It’s unused and I know I won’t use it. Happy to sell it if you’re interested!

Got my shipment today! I don’t know about the other 2 products, but the hand cream is the best I’ve ever used, and the scent is a true rose.

I still have some Ranavat from the last time they had it in this box. The cleanser is made in India. Find it interesting. I am skipping as I have a lot of stuff to go through.

Yes!! Finally a discovery I am excited about. I love Ranavat products and haven’t tried any of these! I know the hair oil can be used as a body oil too, so I’ll probably get more use out of it that way.

I was disappointed when she changed the packaging — the old packages were so gorgeous and similar to the design of the hand cream. However, seeing these bottles lined up here… they still look beautiful. (I know you’re not supposed to care about packaging but I care a lot. Skincare is basically the main décor in my bathroom.)

I might even spring for the new cream Ranavat announced just to complete my set…

I care about packaging but because I want the products to stay tip top. The new packaging doesn’t block light. No good. Many green beauty products are in packaging that lets in the light and air – especially bad when there are less preservatives to prevent bacteria growth when you stick fingers in – like her new bakuchiol cream. FitGlow does a good job but not many more.

This is a really good point. I was thinking about it from an appearance perspective. I guess I am shallow, but when I see how expensive some of the clean beauty products are, I expect more not just from the product but the packaging. If you’re going to put a luxury price on it, give me the luxury experience. I felt that way about the Fitglow box from last month too. The mist is in the cheapest, biggest awful plastic bottle ever — and it’s $69?!?! No. And then they try to sell that clunky monstrosity as eco-friendly? Also no.

But your point fits here as well, because why would I want to pay money for a product that may lose its potency and/or go completely rancid before I’ve had time to use it? Brands need to protect their product.

I know no one can please everyone all the time, but the green beauty packaging issues make me irrationally rage-y lol. It’s one thing I really miss about conventional beauty products and I think green beauty brands need to get this sorted out. There has to be better options for a lot of these products, and maybe the brands can’t check all the boxes (beautiful, protective, glass, low waste, reasonably priced, etc.) but I think it’s reasonable to expect them to get at least two or three out of that list for each product they produce.

Ragan

Happy not to get a face serum, I seem to be accumulating those.

In order to use the hair serum, I wonder if I will have to start brushing my hair. I can count on my fingers the number of times I’ve done that in the last year. I’m surprised it’s not a tangled, knotted mess. (It is down to my rear end now, it’s been an entire year since I got a trim.)

Gloria

Hi Ragan! I’ve been using it without brushing my hair. I dont love the smell but I’ve found it fades away in a few minutes. So far I like it more than my Kérastase. This oil makes my hair shiny (in a good way) and I like that.
Looking forward to reading your opinion about it.

Not sure why she renamed the hair oil… it’s also a body oil. It used to be called “hair and body oil”. I just went to double check the directions and it says you can still use it as a body oil, which is what I plan to do. I rarely use hair oil, and when I do, it’s just before I shower… to keep my ends from getting too dry from shampooing.

Excited! This looks amazing

Not very excited by the February and March BH discoveries. A true hero product could have been Ravanat’s saffron serum. Big pass for me
