Here is the info sheet for the mascaras included. On the other side is the information you need to redeem for your full-size mascara, so make sure to keep this safe!

I loved the details on the reuseable metal tin the mascaras came packaged in, too.

Milk Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara in Black, 0.10 oz – Estimated Value $7.06 (Certificate redeems for 0.34 version worth $24)

I really love the way this mascara looks on me – it gives me lift, drama, curl, and length without looking clumpy. Unfortunately, every time I wear this mascara it smears on my cheeks. If there was no transfer of pigment from my lashes to my face, I would already own this in the full-size because I really like the way it makes my lashes look. Alas, this is not the mascara for me. (P.S. - if you're wondering why I am wearing two different eyeshadow looks in my try-on, check out my most recent Tribe Beauty Box review)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara in Black, 0.08 oz – Estimated Value $5.88 (Certificate redeems for 0.34 oz version worth $25)

I was excited that this mascara came in this set because during the month of January I impulse-bought the full-size of this mascara as an Ipsy add-on (it was only $12!). Now, I’m glad that I tried this because I now know I need to rehome the full-size version. This gave my lashes a bit of separation and curl, but it didn’t give me the dramatic volume or definition that I look for in a mascara. The mini wand was a bit unwieldy and I wish the handle was longer so it was easier for me to control. Even though it didn’t do much for my lashes, it still smudged on my face after a few hours of wearing. I love you Anastasia, but thank you, next.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Volumizing Mascara in Black/Noir, 0.17 oz – Estimated Value $14.34 (Certificate redeems for 0.32 oz version worth $27)

This is an iconic mascara – I have had minis of it multiple times, and I’ve also had at least two different full-size tubes. It gives me curl, it gives me jet-black lashes, and it doesn’t smear down my face. I could use my voucher on this mascara and be a happy camper, and I think a lot of people will feel this way too.

Lancôme Monsieur Big Volumizing Mascara in Black, 0.13 oz – Retail Value $13 (Certificate redeems for the 0.33 oz version worth $25)

I really like this mascara- it gives me volume and length without becoming clumpy, and I like the definition it gives to my individual lashes. What I don’t like, though, is the packaging. It just seems rather plain for a $25 mascara, and I would like to see more pizazz than a plain black tube with pink lettering.

ILIA Limitless Lengthening Lash Mascara in After Midnight, 0.10 oz – Retail Value $13 (Certificate redeems for 0.27 oz version worth $28)

This is the first time I have seen this mascara featured in a Sephora Favorites kit, and honestly, all I have to say is what took them so long?? This is my absolute favorite mascara right now – it gives my lashes incredible length and curl, and it doesn’t clump no matter how many coats I put on due to the unique wand that has half of the bristles in a comb shape while the other half is a more traditional mascara wand. My current Ilia mascara is so old it's in the older gold packaging (at some point in the past year they changed from gold to the matte white you see here), so this was the mascara I chose to redeem with the voucher.

The Verdict: These Lashstash sets are awesome deals – just in the mascara included in this set, I received $53.28 worth of mascara (included two travel-sized tubes). Plus, with the included voucher I can redeem for a mascara of my choice, that adds (at a minimum) an extra $24 to the total value. I do think this set had some repeats from previous Lashstash sets and there could be a touch more variety given the wide world of mascara Sephora currently offers, but if you love mascara this really is the set for you (I pick them up every time they’re available!).

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you order today? Yes, as of publication, this set is still available!

Value Breakdown: This kit costs $28 and I received $53.28 worth of mascara minis plus a voucher to redeem for my choice of full-size mascara that ranges in price from $24-28.

Hmm, my first comment never appeared. Just wanted to say I agree with your review, especially about the Kush. The Ilia didn’t give me the same wow factor but maybe I need to spend more time with it. The wand is unique but maybe a little too fussy for me.

I haven’t tried the Marc Jacobs yet but I’ll probably redeem for it because I love their fineliner.

I bought this kit when it first came out because I did the math and found it gave me the most mascara for my money, lol.

So far I’ve only cracked open the ABH and the Ilia – ABH curls my lashes well but smudges a little by the end of the day. I’m loving the Ilia wand but not seeing the same results you are with it. It feels a little high maintenance to me and I’m a one swipe type of girl.

I realized I already had a sample of Kush and didn’t like it for the same reasons you had. I’m excited to try the Marc Jacobs because I love their fineliner.

This kit is just fun to try new mascara and picking a full size at the end of the trial is a bonus!

I also ordered the 12 ABH from IPSY. I was so excited to try it, but it did not come in my bag. They refunded my money. I told them I really excited to try, and they ended up giving my some Ipsy points as well. I still really want to try it, but maybe less after your review. You are really pretty btw! <3

When I look this up on the Sephora site, it comes up as $37.00 for the kit …

It comes up as $37.00 for me too…. I wonder why? It’s definitely in US dollars.

Hi Andrea! I checked on both the app and the website and it’s showing $28 for me! $28 is also what I paid when I ordered it. Could your settings be somehow changed to CAD or another currency where the price would be slightly higher?

I’m wondering if it is the link? I am a frequent Sephora shopper and never had it change to region Canada before. (Anyone else who has that problem, scroll to the very bottom of the page and change your region (back) to USA). Anyway, thanks so much, Jessica — and I’ll order in US$ now 😉

Andrea

Thanks so much – that’s exactly what happened! It would have taken me a while to figure out without your tip …
