Let's unpack this box!

Skin-Fulness 'I Am Enough' Sheet Mask & Headband Set - Retail Value $20.00

I am loving this little set! The headband is spa quality. The band is thicker so it covers more of your hair, is absorbent in case any serum or oils go near it, and it has a velcro closure which helps to keep everything in place. These are great to use when you want to do a liquid mask but maybe don't want to get your hair messy. The mask was a delight, especially for my dry skin. It had a super thick serum on it that felt so cool and hydrating, and the sheet mask fit perfectly on my face. The mask is made with Hydro-Cellulose technology to nourish and restore your skin. I used this at night before bed and woke up feeling so hydrated and soft. I have had a few dry patches on my chin that I noticed were really improved after using this mask. My makeup went on like a dream. The other great part of this set is that the provided a link to a guided meditation. The idea is to listen to the meditation while you are wearing the sheet mask, to help center and calm you. I honestly love the idea of listening to a guided meditation while wearing a sheet mask. Normally I look at my phone or watch TV while I have a mask on, but this meditation really completed the whole experience of taking time for yourself and relaxing. What a delight this set was!

Scentuals Restorative Facial Serum, 60 ml - Retail Value $45 CAD ($35.11 USD)

Facial serums have honestly changed my skin! I remember years ago when I thought using a facial oil sounded crazy, thinking it would clog my pores, but once I found the right products and knew how to work with them it was a game-changer. As I always like to say, my skin is very dry so facial serums like this are the golden ticket for me to have healthy skin. This 100% natural serum is made with Rosehip, Grapeseed, and Evening Primrose oils that work to restore and hydrate your skin. It is also vegan, cruelty-free, fair trade/ethically sourced, and biodegradable. The instructions recommend applying 2 to 4 drops in your hands to then gently massage into your face and neck. The serum is also good to use in the morning and/or evening. I have been using this serum for a few days now, and it is up there with some of my favorites! It smells amazing like a light rose, and it provides my skin with deep hydration, giving me that healthy glow that I absolutely love!

Elle Studio Home & Body Spray, 50 ml - Retail Value $16.00 CAD ($12.48 USD)

I have two young kids and a dog, so my house can get stinky. We usually have candles or essential oils diffusing, but I honestly love using sprays like this. They are great to use on furniture, pillows, rugs, and in bathrooms. The second I saw this spray I went straight to the family room to spray and the scent lasted all night. I loved it! This spray is also great because it uses natural and organic ingredients along with pure essential oils. I received the Lemon Patchouli scent which smells so fresh and bright, it makes me long for spring and fresh air. For now, I can at least spray a little of this all over my house to get that fresh scent inside and to freshen my furniture and pillows from smelly kids and doggies.

Dr. Botanicals Lemon Superfood Rescue Butter, 1.69 fl oz. - Listed Value $25.00 (currently sold out)

I received this rescue butter in another box back in the summer and absolutely loved it! I ran out of it quickly so I was excited to see this bottle again! This is a high-performance butter that is packed with minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins. You can use it as a moisturizer or skin treatment. It basically invigorates dull dry skin and is made with Lemongrass oil, Coconut oil, Almond oil, Grapeseed oil, and Sea buckthorn fruit oil. To be honest, I've always used this butter on my hands. I can't remember why I started using it for my hands only, but it improved my dry cracked hands almost instantly. So this new bottle is going back on the window by my kitchen sink for me to use after washing my hands or dishes. I can't wait to see my hands improve after a few days of using this rescue butter again!

Insight Editions Self-Care: A Day and Night Reflection Journal - Retail Value $16.99 (found on sale here for $15.29)

My husband recommended that we start journaling more and are even trying to get our oldest son into the habit of reflecting on his day. Everyone is in such a weird time right now (still), so we thought it was a great idea to really reflect on our days and try to make improvements. I really am loving how this journal is set, and is going to be a great start for me! It is meant to help with positive thinking, reflecting on your stressful and challenging moments, emotions, and how to cultivate a healthier lifestyle. The only part that I don't love is clocking when you went to bed and woke up; with two kids, I don't get a ton of sleep, and I don't like to remind myself of how tired I am, I can feel it hahaha. But maybe one day I will look back on it and be rested and laugh at how little sleep I got back then. I am really excited to build this journal into my daily routine and to start reflecting on my days in a more meaningful way.

Changes Workbook - Estimated Retail Value $10.00

This month features a Goal Getter Workbook to help you set meaningful goals in the new year and how to keep them. The workbook breaks down how to create small meaningful goals that can help you stay motivated and maintain your goals throughout the year. It even goes over how you can break your goals down by social, career, physical, family, leisure, and personality. It then goes over setting a timeline for each goal, something like I am going to move my body more by walking for 20 minutes a day every day for a month. You can then always reward yourself when you meet a goal and then expand your goal once you achieve your original. There are more example goals and then an area where you can set your own goals. It has been really hard for me to set goals for myself this year, as I know so many of you are feeling too. My days have not changed much in the past year so it is hard to stay motivated and get excited. After reading this workbook though it really helped me realize that I can make small goals and a timeline which makes a goal feel a ton easier to achieve. It made goal setting feel less daunting. I could even set small goals to start disconnecting from my phone more throughout the day and build for them, or to set a goal to start meditating for a certain amount of time for x amount of days. I can always build from there if I want! I really loved how motivated this workbook made me feel and I honestly feel recharged and excited to set small goals for myself.

Verdict: This month's box felt like the perfect way to kick off the new year! Every product fit together perfectly, making for a focused curation that I really loved. Can a box make you feel nourished even when opening it? This box just felt nourishing! I loved that this month's workbook focused on how to set goals that you can actually achieve and how you can do it in a way that makes you feel accomplished. Small goals are key and something that I never really thought about when setting goals for the new year. The journal came at just the right time and is going to be a great way for me to reflect on each day and this strange time that we are living in. The 'I Am Enough' set was just so beautiful. I loved the mask, the guided meditation, and the headband that made me feel like I was in a spa. The facial serum is going to save my skin this winter I can feel it! My house now has the fresh scents of spring throughout thanks to the spray, and the rescue butter is going to make my dry hands soft again. For approximately $44.86 USD ($49.95 CAD plus $8.99 shipping), we received 6 lifestyle items plus the gratitude workbook for an estimated retail value of $119.58. I honestly can't say enough about this box! It felt special, it made me feel special, and it taught me so much while also allowing me to sample products that are great for my skin!

This box looks great! I wish I could afford it, but I might just end up buying the work book.

I still have some of the rescue butter, I think from Vegancuts, I should try it on my hands. Thanks for that idea.

I must be about the only reviewer here who doesn’t have dry skin on my face — I keep trying facial oils, really giving the same one a go for weeks, and end up with visible shine and gunk seeping into the corners of my eyes in just a few hours, even if I use just a few drops (they don’t clog my pores at least). I want to like facial oils but they don’t seem to like me.

Snow

I’m fairly oily but can use facial oils with no problem right after cleansing or exfoliating and underneath a sheet mask. My favorites are squalane and argan and only a few drops are really needed.
