Newbie here. I just signed up and should be receiving March. I don’t see where on the app I get to choose my first product? Am I crazy? 😉

You had to be signed up on the 22nd to choose for March. Regular Glam Bag choice was the 22nd-23rd of February. Glam Bag Plus choice is the 2nd of March

I picked the powder brush, but wish I’d have chosen the mascara. It’s getting great reviews online. I don’t know why the bag is getting so much hate. I think the design is cute and I like the inclusivity

This was a hard one! I ended up going with the mascara because it’s a brand new product that’s getting rave reviews, and I’m excited to get a chance to try it so soon after launch. But the Ciate lip oils and Milk blush stick were both tempting. (I have a full size of the Milk, but a travel size would be nice. The full size is huge!)

Ranee and Eva, I actually unsubscribed for a year to let myself use up products and not feel so bogged down with everything seeming the same. I signed back up in December and while many of the choices do still seem a tad repetitive, I feel less overwhelmed with product and am actually in need of some of these staple items. Sometimes a break is the best course of action.

Renee I was thinking the same actually. I was about to ask others if they feel our choice for the month x’s several months hasn’t been all that great as I feel it has been over the past year+. Then for my points my options are almost nothing. I’ve been checking month after month. Is it just me and my timing when I check what’s available for points? I have plenty of points and I figured Ipsy could offer a nice eye shadow set, or deluxe samples of skin care but I see lip products but not what works for me. Yet I do fully realize I am paying about $14 w/ tax and it’s not bad but it’s only worth it if I can use almost everything I get. I had to cancel Allure which I love because between Ipsy and Allure it was too much during pandemic. I was going to cancel Ipsy last year and try Macy’s right when they decided no more boxes. I probably need to start thinking about cancelling Ipsy and then I can go back to Allure or look at something else. I like skin care heavy boxes with at least a makeup item or 2. Anyone have suggestions?

I went with that moisturizer/mask. Nothing super exciting here but I could always use more moisturizer. Random off topic question: when should I expect an item that I redeemed with points to ship? I redeemed points a month ago for a mascara, but that didn’t ship with my February glam bag. Should I expect it in my March bag? Do they usually ship it separately? Should I be contacting them to ask where it is? I just don’t know if it usually takes them a while to process stuff like this or if something’s gone wrong.

It will likely be in this bag. If you place the order after a certain point it comes in the next month’s bag. If you don’t have it this month then contact their CS. I’ve always had my points items ship with the bag, not separately.

I chose the mascara. Full size is crazy at $27! I just read an article at Allure about this mascara. It sounds awesome and the writers lashes looked like falsies!
The rest of the items were ok, but nothing I was excited about.

I was having the same issue and then it took me to flash sales without letting me choose. I finally was able to hours later. I’ve been having that issue a lot especially on glam bag plus choice date. For like 3-4 months I’ve had it with choosing a product and trying to get to the add-on page. I keep saying its the planets way of telling me I don’t need anythang else. Hahaha

I chose the Ouai product. I’ve had it before, but I love it so I went with that. I would have liked the lip oils, but for some reason, I just don’t like the type of applicator on those tubes.

And, apparently they cancel your X sub if you skip a month (I thought it was just for skipping the month prior, but I guess it’s any month.) I skipped anyway. If I make it back onto X in time for Maym great, but if not I’m OK with saving the money.

I wanted to skip FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, mainly because I do not like the bag design for March. I have been a member for over 3 years and I have never skipped. It said I would loose my subscription for May GBX if I skip my regular GB! So lame! I’m such a sucker – I can’t skip. I loved my GBX.

I’ve been wanting to try the Milk lip + cheek for aaaages.
Ciate products usually show up in add-ons, so I’m hoping I can pick up Lychee then (I bought the other in BoxyCharm pop-up). I’m also hoping the Lottie London blushes will be in add-ons.

While I’ve never tried their Lip + Cheek, I’ve purchased (and repurchased) a handful of Milk products and adore them. Great quality, fair pricing and I love their packaging.

I skipped March after being horribly disappointed with February and not liking any of the spoilers. I’m extra glad I did after seeing all of these choices. Nothing’s bad, it’s just nothing I want and it’s easy to skip Ipsy and save my $12 but can’t skip Boxy so at least I’ll get something next month. I’m also broke with two birthdays and valentines day this month lol

I chose the KVD setting powder, though I liked several choices. I thought the Ciate lip oils would be more popular.
Sometimes I feel like I’m tired of the sample sizes and just want full sizes, but I never cancel. Ipsy is all I have anymore and it’s just too fun to let go.

I was getting fatigue from the sample sizes too, I upgraded to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus from the regular Ipsy bag maybe 5 months ago and I’m so glad I did.

I chose the Ouai. I was torn between the mascara and the leave in. I have a ton of unused mascara, but They’re Real is one of my 3 faves. I have my fingers crossed not to receive another make-up brush.

I’ll let them choose for me for the 1st time ever. I have that milk makeup cheek product in full size and it’s one of the most beautiful shades but I can’t wear it on my lips because wow it stinks to the high heavens lol

Well…shoot! I do love getting new brushes, but I have approximately a bazillion. And I remember loving the Ouai when Fabfitfun had it.
I *need* the powder, but I’m morally opposed to Kat von D.

Hey! I felt the same way about using/buying KVD cosmetics (despite loving a few of their products) but Kat Von D herself hasn’t been associated with the brand for about a year now. You can google it, I’m sure there’s lots of articles (I can’t recall why exactly she sold her stake/rights) but it’s safe to buy from KVD Beauty again!
