Definitely not wanting a counting jump rope. Or any jump rope, but if I wanted a jump rope I surely can count myself. Today is the 23rd and the second spoiler Shaw’s promised today and at 10pm it is still not announced. I thought you could skip a box if it did not have items you wanted. But after I saw the jump rope I wanted to skip the box but it only allowed me to skip the next box, not the current one.

I sure hope this isn’t the hero item of the box. Two boxes ago I loved everything but the most recent one fell flat. Hopefully I can sell the jump rope. It’s not some thing I can use so a total waste. Doesn’t seem like a great choice for the box.

I agree. Not my thing either but my YA son is going to love it for the very reasons you mentioned.

I know so many people with bad knees, I am not sure this is the most inclusive idea they have ever had. And that doesn’t even cover those people like me whose lack of coordination world make jump rope more of a comic routine than an exercise.
But I guess it depends on who their target demographic is really. I wish it would work for me, but sadly it’s a no.

I kind of already cancelled as I was getting antsy on when the cut-off date was and there were no spoilers yed. Quality wise, a couple of the products from the last box were not the greatest (that soap dispenser lets out a TON of soap at once, and the ear buds are very cool but not necessarily the most comfortable or the highest quality in terms of sound/mic.) So while I’m reasonably happy with my last box for the price I paid with the $60 off deal, and those ear buds really have made my mom-life easier as I can listen to podcasts while I clean now, I don’t think I’m quite ready to jump on the next box at full price. There’s also the issue that it seems like a couple items from the last box were brands made just for the box based off real world brands – e.g. knock offs.

The jumprope spoiler I’m actually OK with. It’s a slick device, is from a real brand, might intrigue me enough to get into jumproping, and it’s only $40 of the box value. But I really would want to see all the spoilers before getting a box full price.

My house came with a brand new dishwashwer but I don’t use it. The soap dispenser from the last box is great for dish soap, a lot is great if you are handwashing dishes.

It’s very rare for a box to sell out before full spoilers so you’ll probably have no problem getting a box if you want it after spoilers are revealed.

Is this a case of “we’d better invent this gimmicky laughingstock before someone else does”? How terribly tragic is it to lose count of whether you made 27 jumps or 28?

EVERYTHING that Breo box includes is a gimmick of some sort. This may not be your kind of gimmick, but if you’ve subscribed to this box before, then you bought into it as well.

I know a lot of CrossFitters who would love this. Doing a certain number of jumps before moving on to the next exercise, and trying to beat your previous time, can be a regular part of WODs. It may not be a given person’s cup of tea, but it’s not just a gimmick that no one could conceivably want.

Jump roping doesn’t happen to my thing, but when it comes to fitness, setting a baseline and going for a PR to track progress is important and motivating to a lot of people. Runners are always looking to shave that extra second off their time, weight lifters want to see if they can get in one extra rep than they did before, and I imagine people who jump rope like to see if they can beat their record with just one more jump.

The summer box will include a smart basketball capable of tracking amount of dribbles, air time as well as score, and much more. Get your game on this summer and win by being smarter with our new smart basketball!

Smart basketballs exist (as do smart soccer balls and smart medicine balls and probably others), so that is certainly a possibility!
