Wicked Good Perfume “All That Glitters” Review December 2020

I have actually been reviewing this subscription for a year now and here are a few things to note about these fragrances:

  • They are formulated without phthalates, parabens, or petroleum.
  • These are vegan and cruelty-free and they use sustainable ingredients that are responsibly sourced.
  • I am not a huge perfume lover because they usually give me headaches, but these unique, handcrafted fragrances do not!

This month’s theme is “All That Glitters” which is a fun theme for the end of the year. (Due to transit delays, my box arrived a bit later, FYI!) On one side, this card lists the products, the scents they contain, and their retail value, while the back has some information about their box review contest and some savings for scent club members.

Wicked Good ‘Tinsel’ Shimmer Mist

The first item in our box is this shimmer mist with a gold-silver sparkle to it. This shimmer is so very light that I couldn’t even get a photo of it. Just every once in a while I will get the faintest glimpse of a tiny silver sparkle. It may be something that works better in the summer on tan skin or when the sun is there to really amplify the shine! As for the scent, I would never have thought pomegranate pairs well with peppermint and vanilla, but somehow it does! It is kind of like a frosted woods scent since the pomegranate is somewhat reminiscent of cranberry. It’s subtle and cozy, and something I’d feel comfortable spraying all over without feeling like it’s overwhelming. It also has cucumber fruit extract in it, which I think gives it a refreshing vibe, too!

Wicked Good ‘Champagne Apple Honey’ Body Butter

Champagne apple honey? That sounds kind of delicious! This body butter is nice and rich, luxurious and creamy. It takes a minute to absorb so it’s not ideal for hands, but on my dry legs, it’s a dream! This scent is also a very light one and while at first, I get the effervescent hint of champagne, it soon gives way to a fresh red apple scent. This scent also has anjou pear, honey butter, vanilla sugar, coconut water, yuzu, and soft musk. I definitely get the coconut water and a bit of that soft musk at the finish.

Wicked Good ‘Sparkling Champagne’ Perfume Oil Roller, 10 mL – Listed Value $18.00

That fresh citrus is such a bright vibrant note at first and then it really does take on this woodsy, green mistletoe fragrance. I am having such a tough time describing what I’m smelling, but it smells like everything listed. It kind of reminds me of the way champagne gummy bears taste if you’ve ever tried those! Bright and tart with a bit of sweetness. It’s a really nice scent and it pairs so well with both the shimmer mist and the body butter.

Wicked Good ‘Winter Splendor’ Perfume Spray, 1 oz. – Listed Value $29.00

This month’s perfume spray is a blend of blue cypress, rosemary sprigs, vintage teak, sugar mint, moss, bourbon vanilla, and tiare flowers. Wow that cypress scent hits you first and then there are these bursts of fragrant rosemary (a scent I love), and I really could get those notes from the sugar mint and bourbon vanilla which helped to balance out the rosemary and keep it from smelling like a savory food dish. This scent is so complex and intriguing! I honestly don’t know how the curator comes up with these scents, but they are so unique and fun to try. I can’t wait to wear this one around others and see how they respond to this magical blend!

Verdict: Everything just felt so fresh and bright in this month’s Wicked Good Perfume collection. One thing I really love about this subscription is the way that the scents all work together and how well they complement one another. It is just such a treat for your senses! The roller and perfume spray were totally wearable, the shimmer mist was just fun, and body butter is a welcome item in any winter box for me and my dry skin. Overall, another great box!

  1. Great review. I loved that body butter. This is my favorite subscription right now! I also have several products and scents that I am buying directly from Wicked Good now. I can get lost in their website with all the available fragrances!
I just got the January box this week and it’s very nice.

    • Oh I know! They have so many scents that sound amazing! It’s easy to get lost in them! That’s why I appreciate having them picked for me each month. Lol.

  2. Lately, every month feels like the best box yet. I’ve been using the body butter on my hands at night. The scent reminds me of Yankee Candle’s Macintosh. I can’t wait to see your January review. That box is amazing. The mask refresher spray is sooo good.

    • I know! Haha. Glad you love it too! Can’t wait to get January’s box – mine got a little stuck in transit but I think it’s back on its way! 🤞 Thanks for reading, Joy! 😊
