December 2020 Pet Treater Dog Pack Review

This shipment from Pet Treater included five items: a toy, a gourmet cookie, a bag of treats, socks, and a bandana.

'Santa Paws Is Coming To Town' Bandana from Pet Treater

Rufus was able to look super festive with us over the holiday's thanks to this bandana! I love the winter print and that it says 'Santa Paws Is Coming To Town.' This would be great to have him in for a holiday family photo – maybe next year! I love the red and green colors that look so handsome on Rufus! As always, the quality of these bandanas is great, with a thick yet super soft material.

Gourmet Canine Cookie by Woofables for Pet Treater

This little gourmet cookie looks like one that we got from our local bakery this holiday season. It is so beautiful and well made. This cookie is a yogurt iced honey and oat cookie that is made with whole wheat flour, oats, canola oil, honey, and sugar. I handed this to Rufus, went to grab something from the kitchen, came back and he had already finished the cookie! He absolutely loves these and I love giving them to him as a special treat in the evening when the kids are all in bed.

Winter Cheers with Squeaker Dog Toy by Bow Wow Pet

This is my favorite dog toy! It is so cute and matches so well with this month's bandana. My kids have been drinking a lot of hot chocolate this winter so they both thought that this was a hot chocolate toy just for Rufus! He has been playing with it a bit and gets it squeaking. He isn't the biggest toy lover, but it looks super cute on his big bed with his other toys. Plus, my kids like it so much they have been using it with their dolls and action figures to give them a warm drink, haha!

Gingerbark Cookies by The Pound Bakery for Pet Treater

Rufus wasn't too sure about these little gourmet cookies at first, but eventually ate two of them before begging for some more. I love that the treats are on the smaller side and are shaped like a real gingerbread cookie. Each cookie is made with wheat flour, corn syrup, shortening, peanut butter, molasses, and ginger. The resealable bag is so big that I know this is going to last us a while. I was even able to pass some along to my parent's doggies when we saw them over Christmas.

Just For Humans Cozy Paw Socks

I am loving that this month's box came with something for the humans! Fuzzy socks like this are my favorite to wear around the house, over leggings, or with my snow boots, so I can never have too many. Plus, the paw pattern on the toes is too cute! My son was super jealous and hoped that these would fit him, but since they didn't, we might have to get him a pair too. Thanks, Pet treater for thinking of us humans this holiday season!

Verdict: This month's Pet Treater box was perfect for the holidays! It was so cozy and filled with the kind of yummy treats that every dog wants over the holidays. The big sweater cookie was the clear favorite this month, it honestly looked good enough for me to eat! The gingerbread cookie treats took Rufus a minute to get used to, but once he tasted one he kept begging for a few more. This month I received five items. I couldn’t find the exact items online, so just by dividing it out, each item would cost about $3.00. At $15 a month with free shipping, this box is an incredible value, plus you get everything delivered right to your door! With two kiddos running around, Rufus doesn't get as much attention as he used to, but this box lets us take time to spend with him giving him treats and toys like the old days. If nothing else, this box is a reminder to stop and show your doggies some love and that is so important to us!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’ll receive a collection of pet-approved favorites as a welcome pack. After that, your pet will receive the same monthly shipment as other subscribers. Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you’re not guaranteed the same items pictured here. Standard orders generally ship around the 10th of each month. If you’ve added special requests to your order (allergies, no plush, tough toys, etc.), this may add additional processing and packing times due to the extra labor involved.

I LOVE PetTreater! I think they are the best value with quality toys and treats every month especially compared to the other doggie boxes..huge bonus for including a homemade cookie every month 🙂
