  1. The jewelry is also stopping me from subscribing. I don’t wear it. Could I send it to a relative? Maybe. But I already give away the items I don’t like from my FabFitFun and Allure boxes. My relatives are going to start feeling odd that I send them so many items.
I’d prefer if this was a toy and self care box. Even home decor (think a satin pillow or something) might be okay. I don’t need this box to provide me with jewelry, stationary, car items or whatever. You get it.

    • Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE jewellery! All I really would love is my choice of metals.

  2. I don’t think the costume jewelry is the reason most people buy this box.

    • Meant to reply to Aarjullor

      • Agreed, but I see where they’re coming from bc the jewelry actually makes or breaks it for me lol. Just bc a lot of the time, the toy is less than the price of the box. So, if you don’t like the majority of the extras, you’re better off just buying the toy if you want it. That’s my take away anyway 😊

    • I’m buying the box as a whole. If one big part of it is not to my liking, then I don’t buy it. When a sub only includes 4-6 things, I want to like it all. Costume jewelry doesn’t contain precious metals. Almost all of H&H’s pieces are sterling silver or vermeil.

    • Calling H & H jewelry “costume” is an insult to the CEO’s curation. It is most certainly not costume jewelry. Every single piece in the 7 month I was subbed was high quality.

I do agree with the others that a choice of metals would be a plus, especially for people like myself who are allergic to some metals (regardless of quality). Gold, I am looking at you. Still, this is the only box I miss since pandemic downsizing and I feel it still has value whether I can use the jewelry or not. I’ve passed a couple of pieces on to family and they have loved them.

  3. The jewelry choice again keeps me from buying this box. There were some boxes that I would have bought had they not been gold plated. Maybe given a choice of metals could be an option. The sterling pieces tend to be really sparkly. I would had purchased the Mystic box in a second if the rings weren’t plated. This months box looks really great but that necklace is so not my style. Put a semi precious stone in there instead, and I’d be in
