Received my box today –
I received:
– Violet Voss – Eyeshadow palette
– Avant – Micellar Water
– Farmacy – daily greens gel Moisturizer
– Trust fund beauty – Lipgloss
– Seraphine Botanicals – Lip mask.

The eyeshadow palette is beautiful. The micellar water is useful but not exciting. The Farmacy is for combo/oily complexions and I’m super dry. Not excited about the gloss or another lip mask (both by less than stellar brands). I basically paid 25.00 plus tax for the eyeshadow palette because thats all I will use out of this box. Oh well, I guess there will always be add ons, on the 11th, so I can get what I want. 🤣

I received that lip mask with Ipsy — it’s pretty average, sadly. It smells nice and its smooth but I don’t think it has the kind of staying power to be considered a “mask.”

I got my box today. Have the Ciate palette one, I would prefer the Violet. If someone want to exchange…?

I would love to get that VV pallette, Farmacy Toner and that Lip balm ( which BTW, retails for $33!?! That ain’t planters, that just crazy nuts) …In a perfect world I would get all these..but by Boxy law..I will get my least desired items or leftovers..But wow! And I LOVE the Fenty mascara , got a mini to try in another box. But Not worth the Premium charge just for “chance” hope I can find someone who will part with it!

I am not a fan of Ciate, so both of my boxes will for certain have that Ciate palette. Also, I will never believe any lip balm is worth $33 unless it also includes a lip injection.

I didn’t care for Coated, either, but the more of it I’ve gotten (we get a lot of it) the more of it I’ve liked to the point of having empties, which is rare for me. The palette in this box is nice, but I’ve been about shimmers lately.

Rachel

That is very funny (and true)!

I was looking at the V.V. palette and I was wondering what it reminded me of…the Colourpop Baby Yoda Palette!! The mattes and shimmers all look so much alike. My family just got me it for Christmas and I love it!! So if you don’t get the V.V. Palette that’s a great more affordable option that is really good quality.

I saw that Colourpop palette at Ulta and wanted it just because of Baby Yoda on the cover and also thought the color story looked interesting. I think Colourpop is very reasonably priced but still decent quality shadows so if I do not get the VV eyeshadow, I may just get this alternate instead!

Prettypony

I read that lip balm was made for Boxy charm. I am not sure if that makes a difference or not. I always wonder when they say that.

Same re: Boxy Law. Every time I resub, I get the only items I wouldn’t want (even when I’d be happy with almost everything!). I’ve finally learned not to bite. It’s still fun when you win some, lose some, but not when you lose every time!

I no longer sub to boxy but I would be very happy with that box at the top.
