Does anyone know how to resub this box? I had some card issues and logged in to change my card. It said to cancel and resubscribe but I can’t find how to do that! Help!

Once again, I have multiple items missing from my box. This is the 3rd month in a row. I’m officially cancelling this sub. I’m missing 3 items – the Christophe Robin, Bioderma and Coola. Was anyone else missing items again?

Lily

Yes.. I was missing the DHC Wash Powder. I called Dermstore and they gave a partial refund along with 1,000 points. Their customer service is great, but it is careless that so many people are missing products each month.

I was missing the SKIN INC Supplement Bar Collagen Serum. My main issue with this box, which has included some amazing lines over the years, is how minuscule the sizes are. The SkinMedica cleanser is a decent size. But everything else is teeny. And I could do without Paula’s Choice. She irritates me to no end. Have you ever seen her makeup and skin? I think to proclaim yourself an expert you should set a good example.

You sound incredible ignorant. It’s disgusting if you think being an old woman “sets a bad example” for skincare. We should all hope to be lucky enough to be old with old, aged skin someday. No amount of skincare will stop that process completely. Don’t come on here insulting people’s looks, it shows how ugly you are yourself

Mae

She’s 67, she’s old. No matter what you use on your face you will start to age. I just looked her up after reading what you said cause I honestly knew nothing about her nor used any of her products. Sorry but it sounded like you don’t like her based off her appearance??

Sarah

My December box never arrived. Still lost in Nevada somewhere. I’m just hoping this one gets here. 🙁

Do they ever offer promo codes to try out the first box? Like a percentage off or anything like that? Would love to try it, but am willing to wait until a promotion comes around.

Nat

I’ve seen it once in 2 years. So pretty much no.

Thankfully this month I didn’t have enough money in my account for it to go through for monthly .This is a disappointing box ! There are a few things I would like but overall not really interested. That Skininc brand I personally think there products are ineffective .

Noemi

Yes! Loving all the goodies in this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

At least it’s a full box…

Veronica

I have sub this box 6 years straight. I’m disappointed because this was my favorite box but its been slowly declining. I’m about to cut it off.

Reply ButtonReply

MD

I am done with them. Recycling same brands. No hero products.

Reply ButtonReply

Florence

So glad I didn’t sub yet. Going to wait for a month with more full sized skincare, and not all samples and hair products. I’m thinking of getting November’s box as a one time buy, as I really like the serums and vitamin c cream.

Liz

I knew their amazing Dec box would be tough to beat, but it looks like they didn’t even try

I stopped subbing this box at least a year ago a d don’t miss it at all. I don’t enjoy sample size skincare at all. I invest in a few premium boxes instead and absolutely love them. Sure they cost more, but the products are excellent and almost always they are all full size.

Kk

Which subscription boxes are you enjoying now?

Reply ButtonReply

Shanstar

Thanks so much for the heads up Amanda – I was just looking into a sub for that!

Amanda O

I just want to warn new subscribers about See New Skincare, it’s so far impossible to cancel for me. It won’t let me cancel online, there is a cancel button and it does literally nothing. I’ve emailed them and they won’t respond, it’s been a few weeks now. There’s no number to call. I may have to cancel my credit card to avoid another year subscription. The box is decent, but I highly recommend avoiding them. I hate subs that literally won’t let you cancel them.

Amelia

I agree with Lisa on this, See New Skincare has been really consistent in finding brands other boxes haven’t used. I haven’t tried Beauty Hero’s quite yet but it looks promising as well!

Lisa

See New Skincare and Beauty Heroes but both are more expensive. Ipsy Glam Bag plus is the same price but you will get make-up as well.

laci

oops. wrong box. but same sentiments for beautyfix (and allure).

Reply ButtonReply

laci

they raised the price to $25. so it’s now the same price as Boxycharm & Ipsy PLUS. it’s like allure is TRYING to go out of business.

Hanna

I really miss the old days of boxes having a “hero” item and then I didnt mind the small samples as much. Seems there really aren’t many boxes out there with that kind of curation anymore.

Ranee'

I get this box once in a while…but I ordered this today, nice to have 10 items…I miss the products we use to get like hair clips etc.. Also, miss some makeup products too…but, glad I ordered this…I do love skincare products.

I subscribed to BF for a while, then would pick up a box here and there if there was something I really liked as the full sized item. Now that they have added a shipping charge, I probably won’t even do that unless it’s an amazing box. It’s one of the better skincare/beauty sample subs out there but I enjoy my Ipsy sub more and am only keeping one sub. I still like to check out the spoilers for that rare box that looks amazing for my needs. Happy New Year, everyone! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Milena

This is pretty disappointing but I don’t want to pay the shipping charge to reactivate later on so I guess I’ll try out these samples. :/

Reply ButtonReply

CC

BUT would you rather pay $50 for Jan and Feb or $30 for Feb? That’s the real question you should ask.

Reply ButtonReply

Susan

I have a question about this. Subbed for a long time then cancelled and got the box on and off when good. I felt the box was lacking for a good while. Been subbing again for a bit and it’s always been $24.95 and my bill always $26.60 so is that tax or shipping that make the price difference? I haven’t actually seen anything written on this new shipping fee. I just have missed the memo in that. So being already subscribed I am not hit with that? If I cancel and get whenever it looks good I get charged a new shipping fee? What even is the fee?

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I’d assume the price difference is tax since shipping is close to $5 or $6 (not sure of the exact amount). Is your state’s tax rate 6.6%? Just asking because that’s the difference in price you’re experiencing. Also, if you’ve stayed subbed you wouldn’t be charged shipping, but if you cancel you will be charged shipping on the first box when you re-sub.

Angel

Same!😑

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Nope.

ALICE RACHAL

Want to add…
I compare these price point boxes to Ipsy Plus. Rarely will anything beat that for my needs. I used to sub BF and after I let that go, I grabbed single boxes 2 or 3 times a year. With the added shipping on a single, I’ll probably never do that again. Can’t beat Ipsy Plus.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I feel exactly the same, Nicole!

Nicole

I can totally relate to this! I was with Allure and Ipsy Plus for a long time. Then after some great summer boxes Allure completely tanked and upped their box $8.😳 I let go of Allure and haven’t looked back. With Plus giving 3 choices, you can’t really beat the personalization. It’s all I really need.

Angela

Nothing full size? What a rip!

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

We got this full-size product in Allure some months ago, and this serum junkie wasn’t impressed. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

That was a different serum by Skin Inc.

Melissa

The skin inc serum is full size. But for me that isn’t worth this box. 😔

Reply ButtonReply

Consumer

I thought the “teaser” video showed a full-size serum, but now I can’t find the video on Facebook.

laci

the skin inc is sample sized (10ml). the full size is 1oz (30ml).

Nat

I have so much Rahua shampoo and conditioner that it should last me awhile. Although, I don’t have voluminous one so looking forward to trying it. Although that Christophe Robin from last month should last me awhile. I think it’s fantastic. It’s funny that we get Christophe Robin 2 months in a row even though this one is different. Going to try to keep this sub unless there is something in there that I absolutely hate like a self tanning lotion or hair clips or lip microneedling because I just don’t want to pay shipping when I reactivate it.

Reply ButtonReply

Prettypony

I have also want to try that Paula’s Choice. I have heard good things about it.

Reply ButtonReply

Break

Forgot to cancel, so I’m stuck with this one. These are tiiiny samples so I’m disappointed.

Reply ButtonReply

CindyLouWho68

I’m glad ai don’t get this box anymore. This January box is all sample size items. 😡

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

I cancelled in December so if I sign up I have to pay shipping. I think I’ll wait another month. This just doesn’t seem that great to me. It’s a decent box but with shipping for me the hero item isn’t worth it. I’ve never liked any skin inc samples I’ve had and the reviews I’ve read in other sites aren’t great.
