Stitch Fix Kids November 2020 Review

In our Stitch Fix Kids delivery, we received this cute sticker sheet along with an envelope with a prepaid shipping label for easy returns and exchanges.

This is the invoice that was sent in the Fix. It provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items in the pre-paid postmarked envelope they provide. The items for my daughter came to a total of $232, but with the 25% discount (which they take off BEFORE they deduct the $20) and the $20 credit, our total drops down to $154. That's a savings of $78 on this Fix!

This is the included style sheet, which features pictures of all the clothing and a note from her stylist. Liv's stylist does a great job listening to feedback and sending styles that suit her!

Suri Boot by Capelli New York, Size 2Y - Cost to Keep $28.00

I had no idea how much Liv would like these when she saw them! She loved the leopard print at the top (who knew?) and claimed that she wanted to keep these as soon as she saw them. They have soft warm fur inside making them super cozy, but she is sort of in between a 2 and a 3 right now, so I felt like these weren't the best fit for her. They are so fun though and even though they have a lot of detail to them, the color keeps it more subtle!

The Basic Legging by RUMI+RYDER, Size S - Cost to Keep $16.00

These leggings are fun with just the eyebrows, nose, and whiskers for a little cat. The shiny metallic rose gold makes these basic black leggings feel really unique. Plus, how cute are they with the boots?

The Brushed Side Twist Graphic Top by RUMI+RYDER, Size S - Cost to Keep $20.00

Liv loved this top with the fun sequins forming a cat face with gold whiskers. She really liked the color and I thought it made such a cute complete cat outfit with the boots and leggings. We actually have some friends who love cats and I feel like this outfit is very much their daughter's style! I loved the cute knot detail on this one, too.

Gianna Tie Die Pant Set by Chenault Girl, Size 7 - Cost to Keep $38.00

I want this set! This tie die pant and sweatshirt set is so trendy and the colors are gorgeous! Liv loves how cozy and soft it is and I thought it was just too cute on her with how slouchy it was. Plus the joggers have pockets, which is always a bonus when it comes to comfy clothes. I liked that this was sold as a set, but I still feel like it's a bit pricey for a kid's casual outfit.

Gabriella Faux Dress by Chenault Girl, Size 7 - Cost to Keep $26.00

This dress is so cute and would be perfect with leggings. If it was a little bit longer on her, I would have appreciated it more because then she could wear it all the way into the spring, but it's a tad short on her. She loves how soft it is and I thought the florals were so pretty!

The Wide Waist Fleece Lined Legging by RUMI+RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18.00

These are similar to a pair of leggings she received last month, although these are in a medium and they fit her much better than the small pair so I think these might make it to next winter too if I'm lucky! She was so excited about the sequin rainbows at the knees and even more excited when she saw what colors they switched to when you push up the sequins! Where was all this fun clothing when I was a kid?

Kayli Graphic Hoodie by Love Glam Girl, Size M - Cost to Keep $26.00

This hoodie is so cute and is perfect for Liv's love of butterflies! It is really a very thin hoodie though, so it's more of a shirt than a sweatshirt. I love how much longer it is in the back. It's more of a tunic style, and I really want something like this in my size!

The Brushed Longsleeve Graphic Top by Bailey Lane, Size S - Cost to Keep $20.00

This top is Liv's favorite this month, I think because it has a cute sequin puppy face on the front and she is currently obsessed with both of my sisters' dogs! She says she can't wait to wear this around them. Lol! I love the soft purple color and the cute peplum detail. This brand's small is a 6/7 and she's really in like a 7/8 so this is just on the verge of being too small for her. I think it will definitely get us to spring though!

Margine Graphic Hacci Top by Nine One Eight, Size S - Cost to Keep $20.00

Liv and I both loved this adorable, soft knit top. It fits her a bit big, but it is too cute with the sequins forming a unicorn face. I actually feel like the criss-cross at the back is a bit sophisticated for her age, maybe because it is so big and slouchy, but it still looks really cute and has plenty of room to grow. I told her she could only keep a few things this month and this was a close runner up so I think I might surprise her with this one for Christmas. I am hoping it will fit her next winter, too since it is so big!

The Brushed Sequin Top by RUMI+RYDER, Size S - Cost to Keep $20.00

This top is really cute, very soft and the chunky sequin rainbow was very exciting to Liv. While it fit her well in the arms, it actually seemed a bit small for her lengthwise, so sizing up would probably be preferred for this brand. This is another great winter top!

The Verdict:  Liv's stylist does such a great job with matching her style and sending clothes that she really gets excited about. Everything in this Stitch Fix Kids delivery was cute, trendy, and soft, something that Liv is a bit particular about lately! Since we don't keep everything (doing this every month would really add up!) the hardest thing is for her to pick her favorites. This month the graphic dog sweater and the super fuzzy rainbow leggings were the top contenders! The boots and the unicorn tee were second, but I personally loved that tie-dye set! Overall, a fun delivery and super convenient for us to try it all on at home!

To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: This styling service costs $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $232. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, but if I keep all of the items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the Fix is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $154. That’s a discount of around 34% for these items!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

Another really cute selection. If I were Liv it would be so hard for my to choose which items to keep because they are all so cute.

A very cute selection this month! My daughter would love everything, too. Unfortunately, this isn’t a sub I would ever get because each box is too expensive even with the small discounts. I generally aim for kid’s clothes that are cheaper to begin with, or 50% off or more if it’s a more expensive brand. I like Kidbox because of that as the box is a flat fee of $99, and they often go on sale for $50, when the value is usually over $200. There’s no fee if I return the whole box, either, so it feels less risky. I get my daughter a box or two a year as she grows to supplement her other clothes.

I do like that Stylefix has shoes, though!
